Everyone is welcome to come on stage perform a set of three -four songs every Saturday night. Variety of entertainment on and off stage. Food is available. Dogs run wild. Starts at dark:30. Come out and live a little.

RV Review of Slab City and the Range performance venue from the perspective of self-contained motorhome weekend-warrior visitors. Slab city is a must-visit for the art and spectacle. Saturday nights feature musical performances at the 'Range' - we parked our RV within sight of the stage, cooked dinner, danced, made friends. Must also visit the "Library". They have a bar and chickens - bring a few books to donate. Great for a night or two but not much more unless you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay for awhile. Zero amenities so bring it all in and prepare to pack it all out when you leave. Extremely hot in the summer so try to visit in winter. Be careful with your pets as there are many unleashed dogs.

Nothing in the world like it! It's beyond amazing. You must come here at least once in your lifetime. If you are a musician out there, YOU should play here at least once in your lifetime! I promise you you will not be disappointed. EVERY musician who played was amazing! Can't wait to come back again.

My review is over 10 years old and long overdue. We were invited to “The Range” as a group of 4 women at salvation mountain. We went to the Range and people were openly doing drugs… mostly smoking Meth. We did not partake & it was terrifying. As the night progressed we met a motorcyclist that we later encountered downed and dead on the side of the road. Our GPS wasn’t working and we got lost. Highly would NEVER recommend-10/10 stars. I HATE The Salton Sea area. It’s the only place in Ca That I’ll never visit again. I went there as a child and it smelled of fire and brimstone. I’m glad I moved back to NorCal and have not only been traumatized.. but will never return to this wasteland. To each their own I guess.i kissed the ground when we got back to normal civilization. I am traumatized 10 years later, seeing pictures had me sobbing. Coachella music festival couldn’t pay me to go. I went once and that should have been my signal to never return. This is a dumpster fire of evil. Enter at your own risk. I still feel this area haunts me to this day! Almost died of dehydration at Coachella. I honestly couldn’t tell anyone what brought me back. Be careful of what you open up to.. even if you think it’s all fun and games.

Great outdoor venue for local and regional acts. Live music every Saturday night! On select nights, there is a burger shack called the Krusty Slab that sells food and drinks.

Absolute must see on your Slab City visit. It’s the main music venue in town, and the perfect place to socialize with locals and visitors alike. Act appropriately, but feel free to cut loose and have a little fun while here. If you wanna see the real Slab City, this is the spot to do so.
