Always a great time at Brick n Barn. The once a month antique showcase is always an enjoyable outing. There is always a nice rotation of makers and food trucks each event. The inside is rotated often and usually around a theme (whatever holiday is that month). You can find some real awesome gems inside and if nothing else it's just a fun outing to browse and see what's out there. It also becomes a fun history lesson learning about old tools or furniture. Definitely worth coming to check out if you love antiques and old furniture.

The Brick n Barn formally known as the old “Betty Crocker” home located in Valley Center CA is a must to visit. Only open one weekend a month, it makes for a great day visit. Stroll among the beautiful gardens or through the barn filled with antiques. Stop by one of the many local vendors or sit and relax with a cold drink or even stay and have lunch from one of their food vendors, you won’t be disappointed. This hidden little gem is a must. Google them for dates and times and even special events.

I am a past resident of Valley Center and haven't been back in ten years. I remember when this was Matilda's Mouse and loved it then, but now it's even better with the expansion and vendors outside selling local fare. I love that it was open the day I went back to Cali to visit. It's such a special place and always full of patrons. This is where you can find unique things for your home, project, etc. Enjoy!

I always manage to find (several) items that I just must have. This last time they had a new bird house vendor with beautifully handcrafted bird houses for every interest. I just couldn't help myself and bought several. Everyone is kind and gracious there showing that they appreciate the business.

CRAZY about BricknBarn!... I never miss it! Unique, well priced items artfully displayed, fun vendors, gorgeous country setting. You feel you are going back in time!... and it gives a sense of community, too, that is sadly missing in our world. GO - you won't regret it! And shop early online for the best treasures (or I'll get them before you do ?!!)

There is parking, a clean toilet, and everything is pretty good. There are concessions and local vendors too. However, there's not much ventilation in the barn, so I don't recommend going on a hot day.
