Went with another couple for the Christmas lights and had THE BEST time! What a fun concept - and what an amazing job the owners did of incorporating the whole story of how it came to be. That really made it even more enjoyable. The bikes are easy and fun to ride, and the staff did an excellent job of explaining the process and safety. Bonus: we were super impressed with all the Christmas lights and displays! I would absolutely recommend this activity, and could see it as a fun time any time of year.

Had a great first experience here. We went on the Haunted railways and it was pretty neat what they did with the place. I did find that the information at the turn around was pretty cool and interesting but many just walked away and did not read through it. I think more would get enjoyment out of it if there was a different more interactive way to share it. Maybe if there were little radios on the cars that were fed a signal that guests could listen to or not with these stories or anything else of interested depending upon the ride. It was pretty windy the night we went and there was not much happening for the outdoor activities and can't wait to go back for a longer ride and spend some more time. Gotta make sure to add the the conductor costume was awesome.

Such a cute, fun, and unique Christmas activity! Everyone was so kind & happy there. The decorations were adorable. Definitely family / group friendly. Everyone should come out to support this business for the holidays!

What a unique adventure for the family - great views and a very well organized operation! Special themed 4th of July and Christmas decor depending on the time of year, with plenty extra to do both before and after departure. Good way to spend a couple hours for a date night or family outing.

Great place! Lots of history and fun pedaling the rail bikes....make sure to add extra time to engage in all of the lawn games AND ice cream. We brought a picnic lunch and hung out after our ride. Staff was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Haunted Halloween Rails! It was super fun to take the kids. Not too scary. Riding the bikes was a lot of fun and the conductor at the beginning was a really cool touch! Can't wait to come back for Christmas and in the spring and summer for longer rides.

So many great things about our experience just before Christmas. The booking was simple online, the staff was incredibly quick to respond when I called and left a message, the drive for us was over an hour but it was easy to find, the owners, their employees and their family were all clearly happy to be there and excited to share their wonderful story even though it was their last night of the season. Whoever decorated did a fantastic job with a million little touches to add to the warm and brilliant ambiance as you pull into the entrance where there is plenty of parking. The five of us were thrilled when we saw the decorations as we rode.(We had no idea because you can’t see them from where you begin). Even though it’s Christmas time, the ride is peaceful yet joyful. Music is not blaring like you find everywhere else. There was a calmness to it that was relaxing while we pedaled at our own pace. It wasn’t rushed and by the time we were done everyone in our group was in a fabulous mood! The price is a steal for this experience. It is one we will never forget and we will definitely be going back and taking friends this summer! A+++ Thank you Colorado Railbike Adventures and to the staff who completely entertained my husband in The Ohio State Santa hat!

This experience was great! We had fun pedaling together in this beautiful setting. What was unexpected was the excellent presentation of a slice of Colorado history to visitors. I loved the short immersion into Erie Colorado’s mining and railroad history. Our young tour guide was genuine, engaging, and told the story well. Kudos!
