If you know what to expect than this place gets the job done!!!

There is ZERO WiFi available!
There is ZERO staff available.
There is ZERO amenities available!
There is ZERO security-which can be unnerving at night if you’re traveling alone!

But they have full hookups and level concrete pads about 30 minutes from Steamboat Springs!

As long as you know what you’re getting into-it’s great! Just don’t expect much. Even for a county fairgrounds RV park-it’s pretty sparse!

This is the worst fairground rv park I have stayed at! I was supposed to be there 5 nights and I left after the first even though they don’t give refunds. The water pressure was bad and the water had a brown tinge to it. They charged for showers, and there was no other amenities. Also when I booked it the website said my rv spot had partial shade. That was just a flat out lie. There was no shade at all. There was no dumpster that the residents were allowed to use either. If you had the option I would pass right by this rv park and go to one that is actually worth the money.

My friend & I enjoyed the concert. The grounds are well- kept. Parking was good. More vendors might be a nice addition. Staff that we interacted with were pleasant & helpful.

Fairgrounds clean. Fair is nothing like the small county fairs like I'm used to. Everything arrives on day 0 (animals, food vendors, carnival, and they have multiple events throughout the fair). I loved the 1pm rodeo event today.

Routt County fair grounds is one of Routt County's best features. The facilities are very well maintained and they are able to meet most all of any needs you may have. Jill and Jimmy take great pride in the beautiful property. There are wonderful events that happen threw out the entire year. The indoor arena is always in great shape for year round horse riding. Please stop and visit to see for yourself.

Don't take children here during the demolition derby UNLESS YOU BOUGHT A TICKET ONLINE!!! They were sold out when we arrived and had traveled to partake in all the festivities. If you aren't lucky enough to get a ticket, and you are standing anywhere where your three year old might be able to see the derby from your shoulders, the police chief will promptly treat you like a freeloader and explain to your three year old that if you weren't such a failure, he'd actually let you watch. When asked if he would please just let us pay to stand in this spot with a terrible view, he chuckled and said "sounds like something you need to take up with the fair board." Simply stand still in the grass too long, the police chief will come move you along. GREAT FAMILY FUN!

Great small town fair! Such nice, polite & well educated young farmers & ranchers showing their animals & skills; impressive! Excellent BBQ, funnel cakes & real restrooms. ?
