I have to say, every-time I go in the employee, Sean, is extremely helpful. I find him to be kind and patient. He always helps pick out balloons and find supplies in the store. I've lived in Ridgefield my whole life and have used party depot for many events, this hasn't always been my experience. Sean is really a great addition to the store and deserves to be recognized for his kindness & hard work!

Must say I don’t write negative reviews very often. I bought a costume item for my wife. Was told by the sales rep that she could try it on and if it didn’t work I could bring it back. Was denied return when I got back. Frustrating that the sales person would lie to get a $20 sale. Very disappointing. In the age of internet purchasing, brick and mortar needs to step up the service to set themselves apart. Party Depot has not.

I had a bad experience at this place , I went to bought something , it was my first time , and the lady cashier forgot to give me a receipt, so I was trying to return something and they rejected me , the product was on good condition , honestly very bad service with the customers .

I picked up 84 balloons for my Aunts birthday.
The balloons lasted 5 hours and then they all dropped to the floor.
When I called PD in Ridgefield
They insisted that I was wrong and that I was told without a special liquid the balloons would only last hours.
Apparently I opted out of that …. According to them.
My question is why would I spend $189 on 5 hours of balloon time.

They just cheat you and blame it on you.

Be cautious with what you buy here. I spent a lot of money here for a Halloween Party. I overbought and tried to return some plain unused plastic bowls that are carried year round. Plastic things that they sell unwrapped they will not return because they are not wrapped. Go figure on that one. ‍♀️ One case where you try to support local but they don’t support local. Amazon would have taken it back. Small business- don’t complain about Amazon when you don’t take care of the customers that keep you in business.

There isn’t another place nearby to get balloons so I go here. Every time, I lose a balloon or two no matter how gentle I am with them. This morning I picked up 18 to surprise my son at breakfast and two popped on the way home and two more when I was separating them .. ugh. I called and they said I could come back in for new ones but that was all they would do. So how many trips will I have to make since they keep popping? Not happy.

The young guy who works there with the glasses he is always rude with the kids not planning to go back every time he is rude with us too but with a baby? What's wrong with him better order through Amazon

One stop shopping for any celebration or event. Merchandise is displayed according to theme or holiday - incredible variety of items for even relatively obscure celebrations. For example, Mardi Gras IS a big deal Louisiana but Ridgefield, Connecticut is a long way from Bourbon Street. We are having a small event at our local church. I found everything I was looking for - and some creative items I never even thought about getting. I like that they always have a nice selection of paper products and decorations for both Christian and Jewish holidays - major and minor.

Employees are friendly and know their merchandise. If you know what you want and they don't have it, they will make every effort to locate it and special order for you. They remember their customers and let you know they appreciate your business.
