Urban Lodge Brewing has two locations, this one is in Hartford, CT. The Manchester location opened in 2019. My family and I were in the area and decided to stop in for lunch. This place was pretty big and with a second floor. When you first walk in, there is a sign stating to seat yourself and order via a QR code; each table had one and it can be scanned with a smartphone.

The place was pretty busy and I asked an employee if they had an elevator or ramp, since we had a baby carriage, they said they didn't know since they're new. Luckily we snagged an open table on the first floor but it was dirty, we had to clean it ourselves. Their menu was not too vast but it had some good options.

We ordered onion rings and the cheeseburger smash burgers. The food was delivered to our tables and it was actually pretty good! My husband got up to the bar to order some drinks for us. I love sours so I tried out their Husky Berry Buzz, which is a fruited sour with hints of cranberries and wildflower honey; I thought it was okay, a little too sour for my liking and I love sours lol. Then I had one of their holiday specials, a green Grinch drink with glitter and red sugar rim, that was a pretty drink and tasty. There was a person coming around to clean the tables when we finished our meals, they must've been short-handed when we first got in. Overall, a good place for some drinks and food.

We visited Urban Lodge before heading to a concert at the XL center.
The location is great, beers good, and food o.k.
There is outdoor seating during nice weather and additional lounge seating and dining tables on the second floor - which we wish we would have known about before ordering form a table on the first floor.
The main bar and lower level was loud. An obvious hang out after hours for people working in the nearby offices.
We took a seat at the window, ordered and picked up drinks from the bar, and the used a QR code to order food from our table.
The Cajun fries were nicely spiced, the Asiago and garlic fries were o.k. But not too flavorful. The turkey burger was filled with flavorful items to complement the otherwise bland turkey burger.
We ordered a flute of four different IPA and enjoyed them all.
Wednesday evenings is also trivia night, which is great if you are hanging out and lounging around - not so great if you are looking for a nice meal and conversation before a show.
My suggestion, if you are heading to Urban Lodge to hang out, the bottom floor is fine, if you are heading there for a meal or want to hear what others at your table are saying, head upstairs or eat outside.

Came here after work to meet a friend for Happy Hour. Definitely not disappointed. The bartenders were really friendly, attentive and quick. I ordered at the bar - there's a sign that hung from above that said, "Order Here" - and was able to leave a tab open. Leaving a tab open you must provide your credit/debit card and they will swipe it into the system.
Another way to order if not at the bar is to scan the QR code. Each table has a table number assigned to the QR code.
I ordered the onion rings and my friend got the nachos and we shared the appetizers. When I say the service was quick it was quick! After ordering the onions rings, I waited 5 minutes, max, for them to come out. The same thing happened with the nachos.
The onions rings had the perfect amount of salt on them and it gave them an extra "oomph" of flavor. Crispy, crunchy outside perfectly cooked onion inside.
Nachos were just as good and had a great balance of flavor. The only personal drawback was the jalapenos. My own taste is to have spicy jalapenos and they weren't spicy at all. So if you're not into the hot and spicy hot like I am, then these are perfect.
Parking: You'll need to walk from one of the garages nearby to park. I parked at LAZ parking and it was $8.80 for 2 hours parking. There is also ProPark parking nearby and it costs roughly about the same.
You should also know that Pratt St is closed to cars and is for pedestrian traffic only.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon as we were passing through Hartford. It's located on Pratt St which is closed to traffic. Everything about this place just oozes coziness. There are outside tables and then two levels of inside sitting options including a couch and fireplace area. Bartenders were very attentive and friendly. There is a full bar with drink specials if you aren't into beer and plenty of options for food.

Went for a small birthday gathering. Mike was wonderful and very accommodating to our group. We did arrive right at kitchen close but the food we did get was excellent.

Highly recommend the buffalo chicken sandwich and onions rings.

The ambience was nice and cozy.

We will definitely be back when we have more time to enjoy the menu and drinks.

Great spot. We went back a couple times. Beers were good. The seasonal drinks were a huge hit. Great place for team to relax and enjoy. Team bonding while traveling. Our group had tons of fun, we enjoyed the atmosphere and great service.

Great place to get drinks before a UConn game! 2 floors lots of tvs to watch the games. Went a Saturday and all the college football games were on. The have beer and specialty drinks I got an apple of my pie, which is perfect for fall! For food we got something small grilled chicken and grilled cheese. Don’t forget to try the deviled eggs!

I absolutely love this place! Not only are the beer and food fantastic, but the bar itself is well maintained and always clean. The butternut soup is delicious and I love the fact you know what beer you’re drinking in your flight with the handy magnets on the carrier. This is right next door to XL center and within walking distance of Dunkin’ so I am looking forward to making this a ritual before events downtown.
