My boyfriend and I stopped in Mystic on a road trip and decided to have lunch at this quaint spot. We were disappointed that there were not any open tables downstairs in the pub area (no doubt a testament to the delicious food and good vibes!), but we were able to sit upstairs, which was much more cozy, open, and quiet. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich and fish and chips: both were absolutely delicious and came out piping hot! If only we had had room for dessert! I would definitely eat here again next time I am in Mystic

This is such a gem of a restaurant! Slightly hidden from all the other restaurants that line the downtown area, but it is certainly not to be missed!
Great historic place to eat - excellent food, great atmosphere, and great waitstaff.
The menu includes the pub items and a nice selection of sandwiches, salads, burgers and wonderful entrees to choose from.
The calamari and onion soup were delicious as were the fish and chips, the fish had a perfect crispy shell and moist in the inside. The DPI fries are a must eat.
This place also has a lot of history and has been family run and operated for years! This is our new favorite place in Mystic! A must try when you're in the area.

Highly recommend snagging a spot downstairs in the pub. The ambience is so cozy and welcoming. Decorated for Halloween which was a nice touch for our autumn trip to Mystic the week of Halloween.
The lobster roll and cod were both delicious, no complaints at all. Our waiter went above and beyond for us.

Very very good! Lobster roll was amazing, tossed is amazing butter with more on the side. The slow braised pork belly was amazing with a slight yummy crunch. Price is worth it because everything taste so fresh and homemade. I got the roll, pork belly, garlic and bread, and the salmon Cesar salad

Where do I begin? Food, atmosphere and service were top notch! We came in for a late lunch and were seated immediately in one of the upstairs dining rooms with a nice view of the water. Craig answered all of our questions, made suggestions and had a great sense of humor! We started with Blackbeard Beef Nachos (delicious!), then ordered the Lobster Mac 'n Cheese, the Reuben, the Captain Burger and the Shrimp Tacos! 4 wows! Everything was perfectly cooked to order and tasted delicious! We will definitely come back again! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

What a delight to stop by this hidden jewel while passing through the area. As a life long seafood lover, I have to say that AI cannot remember tasting a better clam chowder! Not too creamy. Not too “seafoody”. Just the perfect balance of taste to go with my refreshing pint, half dozen oysters and crab cakes. All of these were almost just as good. But the chowder takes the prize.

Oh and you can’t beat the price during happy hour! Half off!!

Great food, great service! This was our first time here. Natalia, the bartender was so pleasant and made us some amazing cocktails. Food was great! Also loved the atmosphere!!! Can’t wait to come back to hear the live music.

The food is delicious. The portions are very big. We had the fish and chips and it was delicious. The clam chowder was very good; thick, creamy and flavorful. The service was excellent. It's a crowded and popular place because the food is always great. It's our third visit and we would recommend getting a reservation ahead of your visit.
