Had a great meal. We sat out on the beach deck near one of the fire pits. The staff where all great very friendly and attentive. The owner was walking around taking with everyone, he gave us some great recommendations. The food was excellent, they have a lot of great flavors for their wings. We will definitely be visiting again the next time we are in CT.

Booked an airbnb for a weekend in New London and it turns out the owner also owns Hot Rod Cafe. We decided to check it out and I'm glad we did. Ended up eating way more than I expected. Had the garlic lemon pepper wings, lumpias, Philly cheese steak wrap, the Caribbean burger, and a few Tox Sours, which is a local brewery.

They have seating area in the back, which overlooks the water. Very chill atmosphere, our waitress was super nice, the place is clean. Needless to say, this will be a mandatory stop on my next trip to NL.

A surprisingly delicious and well-priced gem in the New London downtown area. I was expecting exorbitant prices for the food and drinks, but was served two well-made cocktails for only $8 per drink. The restaurant is also known for its wings, so I had to order a 6 piece Thai Chili plate of wings. They were INCREDIBLE. The chicken was tender, and the skin was crispy with a generous portion of delicious sauce coating the outside. They have tons of flavors, so it's really the eater's choice. I also had a bowl of their evening's specialty soup which was a seafood chowder. It was also delicious and well-priced. Overall I only paid $40 for two drinks, wings, and a bowl of soup, which is pretty good in my opinion. The only con I can think of is that the bartenders seemed hesitant when I asked for call drinks that weren't on their menu, and they had to look up the recipe before making it. This was understandable however because the majority of the customers were ordering pitchers of beer, not classic cocktails.

Great spot for wings! Large variety of flavors to pick from and the staff is very friendly! The original wings, honey bbq, and old bay rub are delicious 😋! Our server, Ryan was consistently stopped by to make sure we had what we needed. Can't wait to come back and try other wing flavors.

One of the best wings I’ve ever had. I love the mango habanero sauce. It’s sweet and a little bit spicy. A nice balance! Can’t wait to try more sauces
