The same woman who answers the phone always gives my husband and I an unnecessarily hard time. First she tells us we can't schedule an appointment for the food pantry until the next day without giving us the reason, then she tells my husband he can't call from his usual number, and today she actually said they don't do pickups, when we've been doing it since the pandemic started. We're already having a hard time with everything going on in the world and don't need her giving us an even harder time. If we could go anywhere else we definitely would

Told whichever woman was on the phone I was looking at being homeless and I asked what services they offered. She was rude to me talked down to me when I was asking her what services they provided. When I told her she needed to talk respectful to people especially someone coming ask for help (many people don't want to ask but have to) she told me she was busy and people were waiting to be assisted. THAT GIVES NO RIGHT to talk to someone like they are less then human!
