The church seems to carry on some good work. The stained glass is outstanding. Unfortunately, the relentless soundtrack of raucus clanging bells is completely disrespectful to the surrounding neighborhood. Perhaps the church leaders would give some consideration to the working people in the community that would like to have some undisturbed rest.

My parents were married at the church on 28 July 1944. Dad was stationed at the submarine base there. Originally they were supposed to be married at home in Bloomington, Indiana but dad could not get leave so mom took the train from Indiana and thus the marriage took place at the church. Glad it still stands.

New to area. Attended a few times. Each were soulful and uplifting❤😆 Trying to attend regularly. Seemed to have "various types" of Gods Children attending, so easy to feel comfortable when your solo. Pastor was wonderful, warm and welcoming❤😊 Sad that there are so few attending 5pm service.

I will always love St. James. My husband worked there as Sexton for over 15 years, Gary A. Evans. Only good can be said about that church. The people there are full of goodness and mercy and it is genuine. P.S. the JUMBO SHOP IS FULL OF GOOD STUFF.

Welcoming people! Traditional Episcopal Church, great hymns, Psalms chanted the way they should be! Organist is world class, and the priest is top-notch. Deserves a bigger congregation.
