My girls and I stumbled upon this place and OMG!!!! The food is fantastic, everything we ate was super fresh and delish. How did we not know about this place My kids are saying it’s their favorite restaurant and now want to come back for their birthday dinner. The atmosphere is perfect and the staff is soooooo friendly. Our waitress Charlie was excellent, personality on point, I wanna throw her in the take home bag as well hahaha. We had to ask to speak to the manager to tell them how much we love it and he comped our desert! 5 stars all the way!!!! Can we move here so it’s closer lol. Thank you guys 😘

I recently had lunch at The Abbey restaurant, and overall, it was a decent experience. One of the highlights was the fantastic background music that added to the ambiance. The restaurant's interior is quite spacious and wheelchair accessible, which is always a plus. The service was prompt and friendly, making us feel welcome.

The parking lot was easy to navigate and had plenty of space, which made parking hassle-free. Additionally, the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of the visit.

For my meal, I ordered sautéed vegetables and fish. While the vegetables were delicious and cooked to perfection, I found the fish to be a bit lacking in flavor—it was somewhat tasteless and could have used more seasoning, particularly salt. On a scale of 5, I would rate the fish a 4 due to this issue.

In summary, The Abbey restaurant is a good option for a meal, especially if you're looking for a spacious and accessible venue with good music and service. However, there might be room for improvement in certain dishes to elevate the dining experience further.

First time here while visiting and will be the last time. Calamari appetizer, fish and chips, chicken pot pie, chicken Caesar salad with side of Mac n Cheese, Steak sandwich with coleslaw. Calamari was cold and tasted like it was frozen, no seasoning in the batter, very rubbery. Side of Mac n cheese was the worst I've ever had, no flavor at all...not even a drop of salt, like nothing! Chicken pot pie had like shredded chicken and was a reddish tint to the sauce, tasted like it had tomato sauce/vinegar mixed in it, not good! Fish and chips was good per family and steak sandwich was ok. I would not recommend this place!

The food and atmosphere were great. It was not particularly busy when we came in, so we were permitted to choose where we wanted to sit. We were promptly given water and menus, and our server was very attentive. The food was excellent, I had the veggie burger with a fried egg on top. The roll and side salad were fresh, the coleslaw was flavorful, and the service was friendly. We were even briefly greeted by the owner, Frank, to check how our time was. Very warm and inviting atmosphere, would probably even more so at dinner with more people. I would go back again if I were in the area.

Sunday brunch was very disappointing where my hanger steak was well done and salty, obviously meaning that the meat is marinated. The brunch options are very limited. I ordered decaf coffee and the cream never arrived and it took almost 20 minutes for her to come back with the cream. The restaurant was at maybe 40% capacity. Breakfast took almost 40 minutes to arrive. Not my choice for brunch!

The place looked very clean and the servers were nice, however we waited an hour for our food. It was not busy whatsoever and most of our orders were burgers. We barely got any fries with our food, the mac and cheese was not good, and the glasses the beers came in were only 11 ounces while the menu states we are charged for 16 ounces. Not worth going to.

Recently, my husband and I ordered from doordash, and the good we received was absolutely amazing. The steaks were cooked perfectly, everything was incredibly flavorful, and though it was delivery, it all came hot. To our dismay, our crab cakes were missing. I phoned and was lucky enough to get Hannah. She is an asset to any restaurant, and they should consider themselves lucky to have her. She was kind, and heard my sadness (we weren't mad, just sad, cuz I love me some crab cakes!!!), and she was immediately ready to help fix the situation. Management at The Abbey should know what a GEM they have in someone who is kind hearted with impeccable customer service skills. Can't wait to visit in person one of these days 🙂
