I have NEVER put a review in so this means something!

Went in with a family member as I have experience in the medical field and may understand a little more than they do. The doctor was completely unprofessional and had a complete lack of bedside manner. He refused to care for my family member in fear that it would come back on him. And those are his words. Primary doctors take months to schedule out for and are very hard to find, we went here in hopes just to get fresh labs to take to a primary when we found one. Or hoping he’d take him as a primary. Complete lack of bedside banner and then proceeded to loudly argue with me when I asked him why he didn’t address the health issue with a little more tact. Disgusting behavior. (forgot his name, but he was old)

Came in with some Blood results I got From a preemployment screening, and my sister who is a nurse said I should go get a second test because these results are very comcerning.

Nurse was great!

The doctor though came in screaming I had liver disease and argued with my sister saying he won’t test me as he “doesn’t want it to come back on him”. Like I’m a 20 year old that might be sick, I don’t want you yelling that in my ear. Great experience won’t go again

Update: don’t even have a liver disease but doctor didn’t even bother to check or help in any way

Booked an appointment for a pediatrician appt with Heather Lonardo NP for my 2 month old son. Went for my appointment this morning and was waiting in the waiting room filling out paperwork. The waiting room had two very sweet little girls there, but were awfully sick, coughing and sneezing away. My appointment was for 11:30 and at around 11:50 I KINDLY asked the front desk receptionist to put us in a room (if possible) as he is just a small baby and is around very sick children in the waiting area. (Mind you I just wanted to be isolated, not rushing treatment).

After getting called in, the nurse or whoever she was rudely said “you know we’re busy and only have two rooms. I’m not going to be able to leave patients just to grab you”.

Number one, it’s my first time there how am I supposed to know you have two rooms and how dare you speak to a new patient this way. After going back and forth with me nonstop I asked for my 120$ refund. She was pretty argumentative and really rubbed me the wrong way. I lost my first son so when it comes to this baby I am very nervous and just try to push for what’s best.

Absolutely shocked at her behavior and really think she’s needs to reevaluate her career choice. I understand the health field is overwhelmed with short staff and I’m sure they deal with very rude and demanding people, but I didn’t deserve this treatment.

Very good staff, happy cheerful professional place. And one of the staff dressed up as a witch for Halloween, which was awesome. Good to have if you’re sick or down something to boost your spirit.

The only redeeming quality about this office is Dr. Mackey who was prompt and professional, other than for this reason I can't understand how or why this place is still open. I payed almost $200 for a five minute appointment in which they took my weight and blood pressure then signed a paper for work. I spent more time in an empty waiting room than I did with the nurse and doctor combined. When I returned for a test result which consisted of an unqualified receptionist checking for bumps on my arm, I was charged once again and wasn't even granted access to having my work papers faxed. I would be more forgiving if there weren't over ten patients waiting while the entirety of the staff were sampling kombucha in the back room. While I understand medical is expensive no matter where you go, they could at least put some of the funds into getting rid of the smell of asbestos

Not once but twice the office forgot to call in prescriptions. The first time I managed to get in touch with them before they closed, but this time the office is closed and according to the answering service, nothing can be done until they open. You have one job - how do you forget to do it?!

It is the only game in town with regards to “urgent care” unfortunately, so I deal. But learn from my mistakes - call before they close to confirm the prescription has actually been called in. 🤦🏼‍♀️

More often than not, reviews are only written because of a bad experience --- so here is a good review. My wile and I had severe symptoms which included high temp with throat/headache/sinus issues and wheezing in chest/lung. Richard and staff performed all the tests needed and provided some meds with additional prescriptions. Also prescribed an ex-ray for me to rule of phenomena... The results were well worth the wait time - would highly recommend...

I usually don't write negative reviews, I understand that things can be difficult and staffing is tough these days, however, my Momma Bear is coming out. My son was sent home from school on Tuesday, March 5th, for a cough, we brought him to Plainfield Walk-In, and we have gone in the past with no issues. I won't go into the details of the issues with the doctor, at the visit, however during the visit he had a strep test run on my son. However, he gave him the all-clear to go back to school the next day, stating that my son just had a head cold/cough. He only had a cough as a symptom and his lungs were clear. I never received a call with the strep test results, not familiar with their procedures I thought, no news is good news.
Around 3:30 this morning my son came into my room burning up with a fever. Due to this I kept him home from school and decided to take him back to get checked, this time going to Minute Clinic at CVS. They ran a strep test and within 6 minutes it came back positive. He was started on meds.
I called Plainfield Walk In to ask what their procedure was when strep test were completed. When they said they would call with the results either way I questioned the fact that I never received a call. The looked it up and his results came back positive for strep on Friday morning. Not only did I not receive a call but the script for antibiotics was written but never sent to my pharmacy so even if they hadn't called at least the pharmacy would have and I could have questioned then. But instead, because numerous balls were dropped my son has gone almost a week with no meds when he could have been on them at the latest by Friday, but he was back at school and exposing others. I called and spoke to them and voiced my frustration, although I am not sure if it will go anywhere, so I felt the need to share the information here to hopefully help prevent others from having to deal with something similar. I will not be returning there for myself or my children.
