Please, please read this review before you ever send a loved one or family member to Greentree. My mother has been in several different nursing homes/rehab facilities over the last several years and this is by far the worst one we have EVER seen. It is a very dirty, old, and the staff is absolutely horrible. The Aides wear Metallica t-shirts and other very inappropriate clothing. The bathroom in my Mother’s room was disgusting. The small garbage can was overflowing with trash falling onto the floor, dirty towels and wash cloths on the floor. Her bed mechanism to move the head and feet of the bed did not work. A patient in the room next to her was screaming for help for over 30 minutes. I went out in the hall to check and she was laying on the floor on her side. No one ever came until I alerted them at the nurses desk. One afternoon my Mother pushed her buzzer to be helped to the bathroom. The Aide that came in an hour and five minutes later proceeded to scream at her to stop pushing her buzzer saying there are many patients here besides you. The shouting lasted five minutes and my very meek Mother was so very upset and scared. No patient, ever should be screamed at no matter what. My only hope is that some day the staff that works at Greentree will have their mother treated like that.
If I could rate Greentree with negative stars I would give it a negative 10.
Don’t make a huge mistake in sending anyone you know there!! It is so horrible I was unable to sleep at night knowing my Mother was there.
Through a lot of red tape and countless phone calls we were able to relocate her to another facility which I would give 5 stars.

mom has only been in Greentree for two weeks but so far so good. Their food is absolutely delicious contrary to some of the reviews, and there is no urine smell whatsoever that I can detect, again contrary to some of the reviews. Everyone there has been super nice from the Director of admissions to the Director of nursing, the head of physical therapy and on down. They are very receptive to any comments we have or concerns and are always willing and able to come up with a solution to anything we’ve come across so far. I love that mom can go to the hairdresser there every week and have her hair washed and set and trimmed and they do a really wonderful job. Sunday afternoon ice cream socials are fun and provide yummy hot fudge sundaes and there are periodically music events in their large diningroom. very happy with them so far.

My Sister was a this nursing home nobody knows what the other person is doing . This place needs a lot of help please never send a loved one to this nursing home in the 8 months of my sister living there was a nightmare all I can say is nurses are lazy and CNA don’t care nurse leaves insulin needle on table in my sister’s room and forgot to give it to her two hours later I called and the nurses apologizing for leaving the needle in there which is a no-no. CNA’s go through your private belongings in your room and in the bathroom without your permission. The food is awful full of salt, hard as a rock. This place should be shut down forever. Her roommate was neglected for hours on end in a pissy diaper and they didn’t wanna change it several times while I was there visiting. I could go on, but it’s not worth it. She’s out of there now and I feel bad for the people that are in that place all the loved ones that are not getting cared for.. !!!! Room 18 Katheryn I pray for you cause if it was not for your old roommate my sister Laurie who cared enough to help take care of you cause the nurses and aids don’t care and she was a patient also long term but I had to take her home cause the place is not fit for anyone who needs long term care . Thank you to Katheryn and her family for all the kindness you gave my sister while you were there visiting your Mother . Only one front desk worker was amazing and one other nurse . . We will definitely thank 3 people in the whole nursing place . Never send loved ones there . Do research cause all they want is your money.

The food is barely edible and the staff is lacking. There are a handful of good nurses and aides but the rest would rather gossip then do their jobs. The whole facility needs to be shut down. It is chaos with no communication or control. Not to mention the fact that they lost my clothing even though it was labeled with my name.

Made our first visit to a family member at Greentree today. Facility is beautiful with many amenities.
I didn't post this after our first visit.
Wanted to have time to experience what we felt after a few days. Our patient/family member's catheter urine bag emptied til we requested it after 3 days! Bedpan was delayed in being brought in and he messed himself and bed while waiting. Medications were not being followed on the same schedule as dictated by discharge from L&M. Other patient in shared room had 5 loud visitors and a dog all at the same time for a couple hours.
Hoping this all improves soon.

How sad to walk into this place and see how horrible it is! The urine smell alone as soon as you walk in makes your eyes water it’s so potent. It’s very unclean and when the patient asked for a bandaid it took 50 minutes. Unexceptable! We couldn’t get a steri strip to close an open wound because the head nurse left for the day and took the cart key where they keep them locked up. I pray I never have a family member experience this horrible place again! Shame on you!

Excellent facility with one of the most caring dedicated and professional staff I've seen. The nurse in the wing that my mother is in is awesome, professional, smart and still has compassion after years in the health care industry.
Greentree Manor will come highly recommended from my family.

My mother has been very happy at Green Tree manor. The staff really seems to care about the people staying there. My mother gets plenty of social interaction with the staff and clients. Her attitude has improved greatly because of it. We are also very grateful that they allow service dogs which really makes my mom’s day!
