Had lunch today at Sora My Way. Nice little spot on the Silas Deane in Wethersfield. Great open floor plan and kitchen with fantastic Italian classics playing over the speakers.

For starters we had the Supplì which is the Roman version of an Arancini. Delicious fried rice ball. Rice was cooked in a tomato sauce then mixed with mozzarella and tomatoes. Excellent way to start our meal. Light and crispy despite being fried. That was followed by the Focaccia Sandwich which is a pizza base cooked and folded in half with Mortadella in the middle. Just the perfect amount of meat, reminiscent of how sandwiches in Italy are served. One ingredient doesn’t overpower the other. They complement each other very well. The bread is crispy with a nice open crumb and a slight char, which adds a beautiful smoky flavor. Clearly it was cooked by an open flame.

The house pizza was recommend to us, so who am I to disagree. The Sora My Way is a white pizza with mozzarella, thin sliced potatoes and truffles. Excellent combination. Again, crust was cooked perfectly. Nice slight char (you know how much I love a char). Not a tradional pizza but was a great choice. The truffles and potatoes were again, a perfect pair.

We finished the meal with a couple of tall espressos.

Definitely worth your a visit. Will absolutely be back. So many more choices I need to try.

Walked down the this new(ish) restaurant 30 min earlier than their opening time and they opened up for us with warm smiles. This place has great atmosphere, really nice friendly engaging owner and his daughter. And now onto the food, we got a cheese pie and the meat pie with bacon, pepperoni and sausage. Both were excellent! Crisp crust, excellent balance to the sauce and perfectly proportioned toppings. 10/10 WILL be going back again. I’m sad I waited this long to try it!

Update: today is my third time in two weeks, I mean meatball sub with a homemade roll? Um yes please! My experiences here have been fantastic both the food and the ownership. This place is a must try and for me my new regular spot

I've Sora My Way a few times now, and I really want to like them, but they just mess up on too much for me to give them more than two stars. The chicken parm is good and I enjoy the homemade side of pasta. There's a generous amount of sauce and it tastes great. Unfortunately, this is where the positive points end. We tried the Sora Calzone and it is actually just horrible. I've always said "you can never screw up a calzone," but somehow they did. The calzone is half empty inside, burnt on top, undercooked on the bottom, and the filling of potato, sauce, and meat is just strange. Since this is the only calzone on their menu, I really thought this was just a normal cheese calzone, but I should have read the description more closely because it is anything bought a normal calzone. It's also strange that they don't even have a regular cheese calzone on the menu, this is it. The carbonara is okay, but I've had much better. Since I do like the sauce and the pasta, they have potential to be much better, which is why I went back a few times since they opened.

I recently went and had lunch at Sora My Way and it blew me away. The portions were extremely generous. The warm bread was like a bite of heaven. Every bite of food was better than the last one. As I ate, I was brought back to my childhood. I felt I was back in my Fathers house for Sunday dinner. Everyone there was friendly and made you feel like you were family. I'll be sure to be going back and bringing friends.

Had been wanting to try this place for a while. Needed a quick bite so decided to stop, order and take home. I had the Suply which can best be described as an arancini without the meat and peas. I love arancini so was not sure about it when I ordered but it is my new favorite. Fresh, hot delicious. Then I ordered the spaghetti carbonara
and that did not disappoint either. The woman at the counter was helpful, bubbly and very nice. Definitely a good place to eat!!

We had a nice dinner for my daughter's birthday. Service was very kind and very good with young people. I got the pizza Sora My Way which came white, with thin sliced potatoes, and truffles. Although I've never seen truffles that looked and tasted like black olive pesto (see picture) and not like sliced...truffles, the pizza tasted fine. The kids enjoyed the pasta dishes. Affordable and cheerful, we'll be back.

Sora My Way is one of the most welcoming restaurants I’ve ever been to. Their pizza is first rate, the atmosphere is chill and when ordering takeout you’re not waiting in a long line. Their grinders have all been excellent as well!

Soar My Way is an excellent lunch and dinner spot for everyone. The service was quick, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was terrific. We had the pizza and ate the whole thing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an excellent bite to eat. I can’t wait to come back for more!!! LOVE THIS PLACE
