My fiancee and I had the most amazing time at Bon Appétit! We were celebrating one year of engagement and the whole staff at this beautiful restaurant made our experience above and beyond! Maggie, our server was so knowledgeable about food and wine and just FANTASTIC at her job. Everyone working that night was working so hard to make the atmosphere perfect for all patrons. The place is cute and inviting, clean and well maintained. We did not realize that you needed reservations (it's quite a small place) but Karen, the owner, got us a table anyway. And the food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! We had appetizers, dinner and desserts, 2 split bottles of wine and a dessert martini each. We paid about $200 (without tip) which I would consider very reasonable for the quality and level of service we got. I could really rave about this place forever. We will be coming back for many date nights in the future!

To say this place is incredible is an understatement. Their menu changes based on the availability of ingredients. Tonight my husband and I had the filo with goat cheese, stuffed mushrooms, delmonico with garlic butter sauce and half a duck with dig and port sauce. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse and the bread pudding. Everything was so flavorful, and had the right amount of seasoning. Our server Maggie was incredible with her menu suggestions and drink selection. We will definitely be back!

This is our favorite restaurant! Karen, Chino, Maggie, and all their staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, you really don’t get ambience like this in Delaware in my humble opinion. The food is always fresh and prepared deliciously! We would literally eat here every night if we could! We have come for birthdays, anniversaries, and just because we simply ❤️ this place, the owners, and staff!! The consistency is on point every single time!!I highly recommend you try it for yourself, you will not be disappointed!

Bon Appetite is the place you want to go for an exceptional dining experience! From Karen who will take your reservation when you call and then asks, is this is a special occasion you are celebrating with us?
Upon entry of the restaurant, which occupies the bottom floor of a charming brick building in the center of downtown Seaford. (Across the street is the beautiful, Methodist Church where there is ample parking) you are transformed upon entering the alcove to this quaint restaurant with lovely dinner music playing! You could hear Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick, Jr, to Michael Buble’ just to name a few!
There are linen tablecloths, fine china & stemware for serving a special drink called “Basil Hayden” Old Fashion with mulled orange & bitters (my personal favorite) as well as fine wine, Prosecco, etc! Candles adorn each table & wonderful mood lighting to enhance your dining experience!
The menus changes monthly as well as offering special select entrees that the chief may prepare that evening!
And I can not forget to mention the delectable homemade desserts!
They only serve dinner and their hours of operation are Wednesday through Saturday.
Call and make your reservation! You will not be disappointed!

Everything here was a 10! My husband has been telling me about this place for 10 years and trying to take me there. We just don't make it to Seaford that often. It was worth the trip! From the bread and butter, the poached clams, the French onion soup, the fish and vegetables, the seafood Alfredo, and the peanut butter ice cream dessert, everything was a 10! I can't wait to take friends here.

This place has been a treasure for decades! My family has gone here over the years and it has always been outstanding. On my most recent visit I got the oyster appetizer, think of escargot with garlic and butter, only with oysters- fantastic! Oysters were cooked perfect and the butter sauce was just right, not too much garlic and great seasonings. I got the special which was rockfish topped with crabmeat. The rockfish and cooked just right, tender and not overpowered with seasoning but with a light butter sauce that made the dish bring out the flavor of the fish. I had the rice pudding for desert and it was heaven - it had a crème brûlée flavor. So impressed with the quality of the food and service every time I’ve been. Best meal you will find on the Eastern Shore!

Wonderful place to celebrate my Mom's 80th birthday. Food was fantastic, service was even better, will definitely be back. The clam broth is something to write home about.
