If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. I am 50 years old and have never left a negative review in my life, I normally just shrug it off and take my business elsewhere. But today was extremley upsetting. My wife has been a patient with this medical practice for over 13 years. WellMed took over the practice a while back. My wife needs an important medication that gets refilled every 90 days. Without it, she becomes very ill. She called today to inquire about her refill and was told that they no longer accept our insurance and they would not be able to refill her prescription. She explained that we were never notified and the representative said that our insurance company should have notified us. My wife asked if she could just self pay so she could at least get a refill while she looks for a new primary care physician and she said they do not do that. In addition the representative said she has not been there in 2 years and would considered a new patient. My wife explained that the practice tells her if she would need to come in for a refill and the they have not required that for that last several refills and have consistently refilled her medication every 90 days. It was not my wife's decision not to come in, it was the practice. She asked to speak to a doctor or NP and they said no and hung up on her. We attempted to find a new practice after that call and most will take 30 days to be seen and she would be considered a new patient and would need to get new work ups and panels etc. So could be 45-60 days before she could get her medication. I called back myself and spoke to same person. She was very condescending and rude. She just kept repeating, find a new PCP no matter what I said. I explained we tried to find a new PCP and would be 45 -60 days before we could get a refill. She simply kept repeating , find a new PCP. When I asked if i could speak to a doctor or NP to ask for a possible exception this one time, she said they don't exceptions and only existing patients are "entitled" to speak to a doctor and hung up on me.

In looking at other reviews, I can see that this is a common complaint. Rude and condescending staff etc.

If Patient Experience responds to this, please don't tell me to call you at 800-966-2811 as you have told other reviewers. I have already tried and you cannot speak to anyone.

If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. My husband has been a patient of Dr. Schultz for many years. WellMed took over the practice. We were given less than 30 days notice that the practice can't see him anymore due to not taking his insurance anymore. My husband is on many medications and needs refills. We offered to pay out of pocket and were told that they don't do that. I am sure you know how difficult it is to get in with a new doctor. When I asked what do they suggest he do, she advised to get a new primary as soon as possible. You all almost killed him once, everyone should know how bad your practice is!!

I gave one star, ONLY because the staff took excellent care of me at such a crucial time. I was with Dr. Shultz for 25 yrs. I saw Jonathan Wolverton, p.a. afterwards, until he left. My first appt with Dr. Dailey was disgraceful!!! She made a derogatary statement about Dr. Shultz, ONLY because she doesn't share the same medical philsophy!!! She said, that "Dr. Shultz gave you (me) very unsound medical advice". IT IS HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL TO SPEAK OF ANOTHER PHYSICIAN IN A DEROGATORY MANNER!!! I was shocked!!! She'll NEVER be half the doctor, that Dr. Shultz was. She made many statements that triggered my severe PTSD. My follow-up appt was even WORSE!!! She aggitated me so much in the first appt, that I took notes with me to the second appt. My vitals were extremely high prior to Dailey walking in. She noted that my voice was "shakey". Well, yes, I was extremely nervous, and my hands were shaking. Dailey stated, "I didn't see on your records, that you're a speech and language pathologist". I'm a patient FIRST, so what difference does it make, what I am professionally? I was trying to explain that doctors have different philosophies, when she kept interrupting me. I told her that I wasn't finished talking. She said, "I don't have to put up with this. I'm done!", and walked out. I left, and was driving, when the office called me back in, to have an EKG, due to my high vitals. Of course, I failed that test, so Dailey prescribed a CTA test to be performed at a diagnostic ctr with, and without iodine contrast. My chart clearly states that I go into anaphylactic shock with iodine, because I have a severe allergy. The radiologist at the hospital cancelled my appt for the test, due to my allergy. I did not pursue the test further, due to knowing that Dailey was the reason for my high vitals, and failure of the EKG. I calmed down, as soon as I made an appt with another primary care physician, the day after failing the EKG. Dr. Dailey is the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PHYSICIAN!!! I'm happy to NEVER return to the control freak!!!
I read through the notes, she made on my records, and she noted that she discussed my diet with me. NEVER, did she discuss my diet...out right LIE!!! I wouldn't trust her to tell the truth about anything, if she'll lie about that. She also noted that I am "addicted" to an anxiety medication. I'm under the care of a psychiatrist for severe PTSD. It is NOT her place to judge me, or judge how a psychiatrist medicates me!!!
I'm OVER JOYED to be finished with Well Med, due to Dr. Dailey's treatment of me, her lie, judgemental attitude, and her MOST highly unprofessional actions.

I was very happy with this office and their care in the past. Their care quotient has declined significantly. I will be finding another provider for my medical care.

Went to see Christopher A Blazejowski MD who was highly recommended. I was told he was not available. Ended up seeing Nadia Curran. I was surprised at how comfortable I was talking to her and her care and I thought we had a good connection doctor patient.. after a couple visits I went for a follow-up after sitting in the waiting room for over an hour with no explanation I was asked who I'm there to see.. once I entered patient area someone I'd never met before I walked in and I was told that Nadia curran was gone. All very hush hush. they seemed to know nothing about my previous visits results tests etc.. the nurse practitioner was kind and seemed to try to help.but the office needs help.
Went back to see the Nurse practitioner I'd seen last, who was kind, and interested. Only to find out he was leaving..
And then on top of that just recently got another email from my insurance (but not well med)saying that they will no longer accept my insurance October 1st..

*I wish you could respond to the owner who responded to my previous review.
All you got out of my experience was wait time?..

I have been a patient here for 3 years and have never met an actual dr. I have only ever been seen by the NP. I don't have a problem with being seen by an NP from time to time, but not every time. I'm not actually sure who I am supposed to list as my Dr when filling out docs for the hospital, or other medical offices. The last time in, the NP, Kia McDuffie barely looked up from her computer, rattled off lab results, and couldn't get out of the room fast enough. The front office staff, both in personal on the phone, are equally dismissive. I was with Wellmed Land O Lakes for 15 years, and they were phenomenal! I thought there might be a standard of care expected in all Wellmed offices. I was very wrong.

I've been going to this practice for over 15 years and have been satisfied with the care up until recently. I was told that I cannot make an appointment with Dr. Dailey (Dr. Blazejowski's replacement) because she is only seeing "critical" patients. This is not acceptable. I don't mind seeing a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant in a pinch, but I'd like to have the care of an MD for myself and my husband on a regular basis. Also, I don't get results of tests unless I make the call, and the front office is condescending and uses stereotypical words like "sweetie" and "dear" when addressing me and other older patients. I was able to meet with Dr. Dailey once when she introduced herself and I do like her, but I want to be able to see her when I need a doctor. Will probably need to seek a new practice--very unfortunate!
