omg they were amazing to work with. we can’t wait to use them again next year when we go back down for thanksgiving. They were quick to answer any and all questions we had. arrived on time if not even a few minutes early. equipment was new and taken excellent care of. explained everything. can’t go wrong with renting from going native golf cart rentals

Melanie was super helpful and nice during the rental process! This was last minute for a disabled relative who was visiting and it provided the perfect way to show them around St. Petersburg! The golf cart was super clean, comfortable, quiet and very easy to operate and the charge lasted for longer than we expected! Melanie even provided delivery and pick up service which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!

We had reserved a car thru Alamo at the airport and got there and found that they didn't have any cars despite a reservation. We were stranded and unsure what would become of our vacation. The bar tender at Jake's had recommended getting a golf cart and so we called Melanie and within an hour she had delivered the golf cart to our condo. What a happy accident this turned out to be! We had so much fun with the golf cart. It made it so we can go around to all of the local restaurants and ended up having the best week. Melanie picked the cart up! It was so great!

I have nothing but good things to say about Melanie and this whole company. She was pleasant and friendly from the moment I called to reserve a cart months ago and we had a blast using it this past week. We got to rent Polly the Parrot and what an awesome golf cart it was! We are in Indian Rocks and I was able to drive it to the beach multiple times as well as take it to Clearwater and also down to Redington and the battery never went below 70% so you really get a lot from one charge. This is VERY important to me for a good reason…

Last year, I rented from a different company and while I had no real complaints, it was my first time renting and the battery died VERY fast. It was an older indicator so you never actually knew how much life it had left. It even started flashing on my way home one night after being charged all day and I pulled into a restaurant and they let me charge on their deck! Even after sitting there charging for two hours (after they were closed as it was 11pm) it still flashed the remaining 2 miles to the house because it doesn’t show exactly where the battery charge is and I decided then I wasn’t renting a cart again.

However, my 6-year old son really wanted to rent another one this year so I tried a different company and I’m so glad I went with Going Native this time. Melanie’s carts had a digital battery display so you knew exactly what percent it was on (like a cell phone) so it was so much more relaxing and you didn’t have to worry about the battery dying on the road!

Aside from that, it had Bluetooth connection for music, glowing lights underneath and cup holders for every seat. I can’t wait to rent from her again when we come down next year! Thanks for a great experience!
