I am new to the area and the staff was super helpful. They even followed up with me in a few days. When I returned to the post office a few days later, I encountered different staff who was equally pleasant and helpful.

Laughably incompetent, they've misplaced most of my mail leading to multiple days long delays and recently they put my package on the wrong truck having it shipped back to San Francisco. They've incorrectly updated my package status multiple times as well and failed to correct those mistakes, at one time not even telling me I'd have to come in person to pick up my package.

They're either horribly understaffed or new management needs to take over ASAP.

The staff seem pretty overwhelmed and slow energy. As if the customers are an imposition.
Funny, because they are all fairly new hires. I remember the first few weeks how full of smiles & welcoming they all were. This kind of thing has been happening at the Post office for far too long. No company should ever feel it's ok to treat their employees so poorly that they lose their zest for life. It's so sad. It is another example of the imbalances of our world. Why do some people find it so hard to treat other people with kindness and respect?

Worst post office ever. Staff is rude and incompetent. Somehow, they always manage to lose our packages. The "No access to location" is a lie. The packages are very small, and they perfectly fit in the mailbox. They're just lazy. As soon as you go to complain, they go to deliver the packages as they should in the first place. Avoid this post office if you can.

UPDATE: They have extended the lobby hours recently so that helps a little.
I travel a lot and need to have access to my PO box when I return home. The fact that I can only pick up my mail when the lobby is open (business hours) is absurd. What about customers who work full-time? Hire a security guard if you need to but let us have what we pay for. This is beyond inconvenient.

The Guerneville Post office is the best office in the West
County. They have the most professional staff, the longest hours of operation and best access of any local PO's. I welcome them back after the recent evacuation. Keep up the great work!

I'm currently out of town and need to speak with a live person regarding my mail hold. I've been calling the Guerneville post office for days and no one picks up the phone. I called the 800 # for main usps to speak to them, was on hold for 1 hour, 20 minutes then disconnected. Called back and on hold for 45 minutes and still holding. This is ridiculous. Hire more people if you're unable to service the citizens of your jurisdiction.

If I could leave zero stars I would. This Post Office is the appidomy of incompetence. When I called to find out why my package wasn't delivered to my door, as all others are, they told me that the delivery person doesn't get paid to deliver them to individual numbers at the address! DOESN'T GET PAID?!!!!
