Customer service is non-existent and they won’t do a return even when I offered to pay the shipping cost and the package hadn’t even been received. Complete scam company.

Edit: Company’s reply is a joke. They don’t even deny that they’re refusing any refund even when I offered to pay the shipping cost. The product hasn’t even left their local UPS depot after sitting there for four days without moving. They can cancel it and get it back untouched and I offered to pay the shipping costs yet still they refuse any refund or resolution.

Seems to have been closed to in person shopping. Sign says online only, but grill was over door when we arrived at 1:30 PM on Friday… Was looking forward to checking it out. Sent a text to their chat bot, trying to see if same day pickup is possible if you order online, but so far it’s just said please wait …

Heritage costumes was a pleasure to work with. I had a last minute order during a busy season and they were extremely accommodating. They called to help me get the perfect fit for my husband's costume and the shipping was incredibly fast (to TX). I am very impressed with the quality of the uniform (especially for the price). Thank you so much for all your help! I will definitely order from Heritage Costumes again!

Definitely a great place to stop if you are looking for theater makeup brands such as mehron and Ben Nye. They have an awesome selection makeup, sprays, and whatever you need. I didn't really go for the costumes just for the makeup. It beats buying them online and having to pay shipping. It's definitely worth a visit to this little Nook you would be surprised what you would find. The staff is nice and very helpful.

Heritage Costumes has been very difficult to work with. I purchased the wrong costume for my kid's school function and had to return it. They were not friendly on the phone any time I called. They didn't provide any details when they processed my return 3 weeks after they received it. They said they just finished their busy Halloween season so I got my refund in December. I had to call them again and ask for the details of my refund amount since they only emailed me a total amount. AND they charged me 15% re-stocking fee on the sales tax not just the items!!! I was hoping they would be good to work with since I like to giving my business to local companies...

Buyer beware! We ordered online. The box arrived crushed with everything thrown in... some not even in protective bags... and no return label and no packing list. Some of the items were not the size we ordered. The costumes were of poor quality and none fit as advertised. We live in a federal disaster zone and we were mandatorily evacuated during this time with no delivery services.. which is a permitted exception to their return policy even if we were to be late on our return. After we returned home from our fifth evacuation totaling nearly 3 months (not "one day" of evacuation as this store claims in their response), we hunted on the internet for the return address, repaired the crushed box and returned everything less than 30 days later with a note explaining why we were returning. No refund arrived on my credit card. I then received a phone call "offering" me 50% of my purchase cost with the excuse that "the order was received 34 days after the box left the warehouse" instead of 30 days. They threatened to "got to war" and zero refund if I didn't accept their offer of 50% of my purchase cost. They then threatened me by email. Scammers and crooks and generally unpleasant... don't order from these people.
Note that in their reply to this review on Yelp they admitted that they plan to keep 50% of my money AND the costumes which I returned under their return policy. It appears they sell and resell the same costumes and keep 50% or all of the customer's money each time. Check the other reviewers saying the same thing on Yelp... they are not honest people.
Update: Their employees have been bullying me and harassing me on facebook ever since I posted this review. One of those bully employees (Nicole G.) posted a 5 star review on Yelp pretending to be a customer. They kept all of my money AND the costumes I returned at my expense. Unfortunately they resort to lying, slandering and blaming the customer for the fact that they do not honor their posted return policy. After a month of enduring this abuse, my credit card company did honor the return policy and refunded the money taken by Heritage Costumes. Avoid this company.

I placed an order for an item in March 202 and never received my order. I have sent numerous messages asking about my order over the last several months, but have never received an answer (it's the end of July now). I've tried calling several times and nobody has answered. I sent messages through their Facebook page, and have received no answer there.

I've been cutting them some slack because I figured they had to close down operations due to the coronavirus, but I would have appreciated an answer to my inquiries, if even just to tell me that I'm out of luck for my order AND my money. I've run out of patience.

They have stolen my money and skipped town as far as I can tell. Be warned.
