Wonderful library, great views of Humboldt Bay, great collection of books, videos, audio books, and local history. Wonderful kids programs and park next to the library. Plenty of cool places to read or study.

This main Eureka Humboldt County library serves a variety of information needs for everyone. The views of the Bay and children's park are outstanding.
There are many branches in small cities in the area. It's inviting and inclusive.

Huge library. Two floors with an elevator. Gorgeous view of the harbor. Very clean and books neatly arranged.

I appreciate this library for having the donated books that are available to me, my son, and my grandpa, everyone, to read whenever we want (and we check the hours conviently located on Google to maximize our reading!) It is a very spacious library with tall ceilings and a lot of tables with privacy stands as well as large open tables for working with a group project. This is a building with water, a bathroom and it is heated. I am not surprised that the homeless are there! It isn't nice but you can't live here in Humboldt long without learning to get over it. This is a free library and we could easily not have as much as we have... Idk what there is to really complain about...

I love the library. However, my latest visit was to the craft supply exchange. It was cool. I brought a quart freezer bag full of bags and tubes of beads I don't use anymore and left with glitter, stickers, and wooden items I could put to use. I appreciate this program!

Was told I'm not allowed to use the library because I have dogs. Eureka library is not friendly to humans or animals.

Great librarians that are super helpful. Not a terrible selection of books considering our rural location. They work hard at the library to keep it fresh. Love the little for sale section and the historical collections upstairs.
