My absolute favorite Halloween tradition! I have been going for almost 10 years. It's amazing that the houses are literally torn down & rebuilt year after year. The costumes & makeup are always on point. The scare actors are great. The price is affordable & worth every penny & the line system is genius. If you haven't been, you're missing out! Go! 👻

From the moment you arrive, the eerie atmosphere builds anticipation, and the attention to detail in every scene is incredible. Each area of the forest has its own unique theme, with realistic props and talented actors who know just how to deliver the perfect scare. It’s clear a lot of thought and passion goes into making this a memorable event.

The actors here are top-notch and incredibly committed to their roles, enhancing the thrill of every twist and turn. What really sets A Petrified Forest apart is how interactive the experience is. The actors don’t just pop out for a quick scare—they engage with you, drawing you deeper into the story and keeping you on edge the entire time. There’s an impressive range of scares, from jump scares to spine-chilling moments that build suspense, catering to all types of thrill-seekers. I especially appreciated that they adjust the intensity of the scares based on the crowd, so everyone has a great time.

Another fantastic aspect of A Petrified Forest is the variety of options and events they offer. I had the chance to attend on one of the "Total Eclipse" nights, where you navigate the haunted trails in the dark with only a glow stick, which added an extra layer of terror and excitement! They also have live music, food vendors, and games, making it a full evening of entertainment. I highly recommend this event to anyone looking for a unique and genuinely thrilling Halloween experience. It’s an annual tradition worth experiencing with friends or family—you won't want to miss.

Brilliant night at the petrified forest! The actors are unreal, they really make it amazing. They are so in character and have perfect scary timing.

The sets, costumes and noises are fantastic. The 3 horror houses each have something unique to offer. I had a jumpscare so hard I almost put my back out in the House of DeKay! It was very very funny (afterwards lol)!

My son was a bit too scared and one of the lovely zombie ladies noticed how upset he was and very kindly and quietly took him aside and made sure he was OK, without making a big deal in front of people. The staff here just go above and beyond, definitely the best Halloween walk through we've ever been at.

The ticket price of $37 was completely worth it and the front area outside the houses was packed with great hot&cold food trucks, also the DJ was fantastic 👌

A complete must do! *however kids under 10yrs I would not recommend*

For $45, a price that can't be beat, and experience like no other, I LOVE IT HERE! I spent like 1h and 30 minutes here (including wait times and stopping to look at all vendors and food trucks). The staff are friendly, and the vendors provided a variety of halloween themed crafts, jewelry, tees, and A Petrified Forest merch! I wasn't there for the food trucks, but I tried a 32 oz Strawberry Mint Lemonade for $8, and it was delicious 😋 Are there different themed houses every year? Or the same ones? Definitely will be back with my ghouls💁🏾‍♀️HAPPY HALLOWEEN YALL

Always a blast..the vampire was there as per usual.. if you have been to Dunky you know what i mean. The ticket prices are too high. Need to get more varity of food trucks but the bus drivers are awesome .

While not very scary (except for the porta potties, be warned 😫) it was overall a fun little local haunt. I would definitely recommend Thursdays for less crowds. The lines moved fairly quickly as the color wheel determines your first house, and you can fast lane the other two. The actors in the houses did a great job so kudos to them, although it would of been nice to have a handful more in each area as some twists and turns felt a little empty.
