Was there a few weeks ago. Love the store but someone needs to tell the cashier about people skills. Took a dog collar back as it was too small and had the receipt. Left with her and said I would shop and just replace. After seeing me in store for quite some time she waited until I got back to her to tell me they wouldn’t take back as the tag was no longer on item and missing but she was given a receipt for the item. Have had different accounts with various Ace stores for over 20 years but will go anywhere but here or their other stores. Their loss over such a small item.

My first time at this Ace. I was looking for a jigsaw, calking gun and some foil tape for an AC repair. Not only did I get prompt attention and great knowledgeable help but I also saved about $100 from what I expected to spend. No up selling just good advice and experience to help you pick what you actually need. And on the way out Guys out front were grilling and making pulled pork. They invited me for a free meal. Nice conversation, great products, friendly staff and great help makes this Ace a must visit for me. Do yourself a favor and check them out before going to the local big box store. Did I mention that I was in and out in about 10 minutes? Check the team out at this Ace Hardware. Great store.

After an hour driving around to multiple other hardware stores looking for wing nuts to secure my storm shutters before Milton, Ace Hardware of Big Bend came through in the clutch! Everywhere else was sold out (cough Home Depot cough), but they had plenty left when I got there and the staff were all very helpful and kind!

RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL, I walked into the store on the phone minding my business, and Joe D. Interrupts me to demand me to get off the phone so he can help, not once did I seek help from this individual who felt obligated to speak to me. Then when I tried to file a complaint with the manager Sonya she gave me the run around as if she had no experience in customer service and did not want to help by any means, tearing a piece of paper and asking for my name and phone number just so she can throw it in the trash when I leave the store. They have forever lost my respect and business and I will be filing a Better Bureau Business complaint on these two individuals.

The associates are always friendly and very helpful. Its’s a nice, clean store that is uncrowded. They have a wide range of products. I’m pleasantly surprised at the variety, including some unique items. It’s so much easier to get in, get what you need, and get out compared to the larger stores. It has small-town, personalized service in a convenient location, and even has a drive-thru section where they will load pick-up orders right in your vehicle. We’re lucky to have this store so close to home.
