10/10 Caterina is the absolute best. I booked a last minute appointment with her as a new client after seeing so many positive reviews. I had gone for a haircut at a different salon on a Saturday, and my previous stylist at that salon royally screwed up my most recent haircut - she left my hair uneven and asymmetrical. By Sunday morning, I googled the adam broderick Southbury location in search of a new stylist to fix my hair nightmare. Caterina was mentioned in many of the reviews, so i booked an appointment with her for the next day, Monday evening.

Could not be more pleased. Not only did she consult with me on what would work best for my hair, what she would do to fix it, and what cut would be best, she was willing to listen to my hair horror experience and validated all of my concerns.

She added layers and trimmed everything to frame my face perfectly, and give my wavy/ curly hair extra volume bring out my natural curl.

My husband waited in the car for me while i was at the salon, and the first thing he said when i got in the car was "Wow, I'm gonna have to marry you all over again"
He also said i was "glowing"

So yeah, 100000% recommend. I was so upset to have my hair butchered by the last stylist (at a different, unrelated salon) but Caterina literally left me feeling like a million bucks!

Already booked my next appt, just to lock in my spot with her.

Everyone keeps asking where I got my hair done! I went to Caterina yesterday for the most gorgeous balayage. She’s so friendly and fun to chat with, and she’s an extremely talented colorist. My hair feels so healthy, even after lifting all of the color (I went from medium brunette natural color to full balayage in one session). I was nervous to do balayage again after the damage I’ve experienced in the past, but Caterina definitely helped me feel confident that I was leaving my appointment in great shape. I’ll definitely be going back to her!

I’m also bringing my daughter in tomorrow for a cut with Heather, who she regularly sees and likes for her naturally thick wavy hair. Heather has really helped my daughter learn how to style and manage her waves.

I have been going to Caterina for a couple of years now after years of trying out many stylists who can properly color jet black hair. I had always struggled with finding someone who can highlight my hair without turning it orange or brassy.

Caterina is amazing she is meticulous and does an amazing job with balayage and highlights. She checks and fixes everything with literally a fine tooth comb. You always leave the salon feeling like a million bucks, ready for a night out of town.

He used the perfect amount of pressure, and worked the kinks out beautifully. He was a real pro. I’ve been having Caterina as my stylist for about a year or so. I couldn’t be more pleased with her expertise and personal touch. My hair has never been as healthy and shiny as it is now. The salon is top-shelf too. It’s extremely modern, spotless and offers hair care, nail services, makeup and hair supplies and a bit of jazzy ready-to-wear clothing.

As an added benefit was having Jessica apply the hair conditioner and glaze. She was extremely professional and I enjoyed a short and pleasant head/neck massage.

I recommend these ladies as well as the salon. They will not disappoint.
