My first time here and everything was excellent. The food was delicious and artfully served. My mom said it was the best creme brûlée she ever had in her life. I loved the decor and high ceilings, it definitely added to the wonderful experience. Our server, Randall, was a delight.

We just happened to find this restaurant. It has now become one of our favorite places. Diana was one of the best waitresses and provided an amazing date night experience. She made the best drinks, gave the best recommendations, and outstanding service. Every bite was high quality and every sip hit just right.

Delicious food and drinks! Apps are awesome! The beet salad, bacon wrapped shrimp and stuffed mushrooms are highly recommended and did not disappoint.
The entrees were on point as well, however something about the bread pudding was off and I would not recommend that.
Drinks were awesome! Cozy atmosphere!

Living near by we have tried Back Burner a few times hoping it would improve, but it just has not. The food is average. It is not bad, just not what you would expect for the prices they charge. The real issue is the service. The restaurant was about a 1/4th full yet it took 20 minutes for someone to come to our table. It took another 30 minutes to get the food. By the time it arrived the hot sandwiches were cold. At no time did the waiter come back to see how the food was, provide any bread, refill water glasses or ask if we needed anything else. Given the large number of good restaurants in the area, I think our experiment with the back burner is over for us.

My husband and I had lunch today, he had the ciabatta and I had the quiche. My quiche was comparable to what I could buy in a supermarket. It was not like the thick ones they used to serve and did not look as if it was freshly made. We have supported this restaurant for many years and were very disappointed as we feel that standards have dropped.

Called to make reservations, was told they had no openings, but to come in anyway and we will be seated. We arrived and relayed said information to the host. “Sorry we are full, but if you wait I can see what we can do”.

Looking around at 3/4 of the tables empty, I assume the host relayed the situation to the manager and we would get updated on things? 30 minutes later, the manager never arrived and the host never followed up with us.

As a business owner myself, I know shit happens, and am very patient and forgiving as a consumer. As an owner I do whatever I can to satisfy a customer. But I would never waste a customer’s time telling them I can do something, I know I can’t.

This place is a hidden gem! We visited during restaurant week for a late lunch. I never thought I'd rave about a turkey sandwich, but this one was to die for! The pumpkin mushroom soup was great and their "better cheddar" is amazing! You can buy containers of the cheese spread (several varieties) at their retail shop nextdoor. It's a new favorite!

Had a great evening for my mom’s birthday. It was restaurant week and the menu had a nice selection with appetizer, entree, and dessert for a fixed price. Food and drinks were very good and our server Adam was great. He was very attentive to everything and made my mom’s day special with her bday dessert which was a nice touch. Highly recommend!
