I don’t understand how this place is so poorly run every time I come here. 1:30 pm tee time and when pulled up to the first hole there is 13 carts lined up to tee off. 6 hours to play 18 holes, actually unplayable.

$90 and literally unplayable. Chunks of fertilizer on every green. Puddles from over watering while we were playing. Whoever is managing this place should be embarrassed and is way overpaid.

Through their Player Development Program, we have experienced an excellent season of golf at this great club. The PDP costs $80/$40 a month for player and spouse (minimum of two months). This provides you with unlimited balls on their excellent (and long!) grass driving range, and option to play afternoon and twilight at $45 and $15/$10! Now the course - well laid out, challenging holes peppered with water hazards. Right length for all golfers. I played from the silver as the forward tees were too short for this woman. Greens were well maintained; some days fast depending whether they were cut and rolled, and predictably slower in late afternoon. Rounds will vary from 3:45 (during rain) to 5:30 hours. Every round capped by beer in the lounge where popcorn is free, first draft beer is $2.50 and atmosphere so welcoming! We hope to come back again next season and play lay the PDP again at Bardmoor. Well worth the money for this beautiful course.

Seriously, I’ve never had a worse experience at a golf course. If you book after 12 PM, know this: you’ll pay for 18 holes but only get through about 10 in 4 hours. The starter clearly doesn’t care about managing pace or preventing backups. Tee times are every 7 minutes—completely unrealistic. It’s obvious the owner only cares about squeezing every last dollar out of this place.

Our 1 PM tee time was a disaster. Despite showing up 30 minutes early as required, there were no carts available. We got ours at the last second, only to find four groups ahead of us waiting to tee off. The starter couldn’t be bothered to regulate anything, even letting the 1:15 group go ahead of us. If not for the kind group in front of us, it would’ve been even worse.

The clubhouse staff? Rude and miserable. Our cart died on hole 11—five hours into the round. This all screams poor management and ownership.

Don’t waste your time. You’ve been warned.

Just played today (Thursday) and it was fantastic.
Aces. Really really nice.
Lost a few balls but the wind was playing today…
Greens are very fast with levels. Water hazards most holes. It’s rad.
Grass driving range. No matts.
Touchscreen gps in cart. Everything and everyone I came in contact with…Thank you

The pizza is legit too.
I absolutely recommend.

Staff is very friendly. The pro shop staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The course needs some TLC. The tee boxes are worn, there are many dead stops on both the fairways and greens. Very difficult to read and putt on the greens. The bunkers are totally unplayable. You need to be ready for a challenge.

This Friday I had the great displeasure of playing the slowest "round" of golf in my 66 years of living. The round only took 2.5 hours; unfortunately I only played FIVE HOLES over that span of time. Ownership/management needs to address the twin issues of rampant, unsupervised slow play and over-booking. Sure, it's almost the only golf course in the central Pinellas county area, but people are fed up. I met at least 30 completely dissatisfied golfers during the piling up of 16-20 golfers waiting to tee off at the few holes I played. Also, several people in the clubhouse who paid $85 to play a four and a half hour front nine. There is no excuse. Fridays are the worst, as thoughtless snowbirds pile in to join the down-trodden local working stiffs trying to enjoy their best shot at a weekday golf outing.
