Went in there on a Friday night a couple of weeks ago and there were two older ladies in there sitting on their butts talking to each other. They did not speak to me when I entered and didn’t bother asking if I needed help as I glanced around the store. When I approached the counter to check out they acted as they were annoyed having to wait on me. One lady checked me out while the other put my purchases in a bag. The only time I was spoken to was when I was given the total of my purchases. I was so put off by the lack of customer service that I almost wanted to just say forget it and go somewhere else. I finished my transaction and there was not a thank you or any sort of parting comment. I don’t know if these women are relatives of the owner or if they are actually working for money but either way they shouldn’t be dealing with the public. I won’t be patronizing this store again and will take my business elsewhere all because of these bitter, entitled old ladies.

One clerk acted like she was too good to be there, other one was a little more helpful. Same nose outta shape clerk rang me out - I bought 2 brandy minis and a 4 pk Sutter Home - all for making a soup. Got home to put the items away and the bottom of the paper bag on one side was wide open, no glue so someone got a free mini. Called the store and they can't be bothered to answer the phone. First trip there and for sure my LAST!!

This store is within walking distance from my house. It would be so nice to have a local store where you knew the products ect. But the staff there are the nastiest, non caring people in the business. They have also gone through a change in some of the employees recently, but no help. There used to be a heavy set "woman"? at the register who was miserable. Now there is a little pasty white guy "manager" on a power trip. It's like the customer owes them gratitude for their store. I've never heard a thanks, have a good day, kiss my a&$, nothing. It's overpriced because of the neighborhood.
Now, I just get in my truck, take a relaxing ride to the BIG LIQUOR store right in Selbyville. They are ALWAYS pleasant and the prices are the best in the area. I hope Bayside goes by the Wayside soon. And the pasty white manager goes back to mommy's basement.

Staff was great! Called to check stock and very courteous woman advised they had what I needed. Arrived a bit later - she remembered our call and retrieved the items. Only store in Southern Delaware/Ocean City that carried it.

Sunday Eve 7:57pm. The store closes at 8pm. The gentleman is counting his bank. Doors closed. I knock on the door. He shakes his head no. Apparently, they close earlier. They missed out on a $100 sale. I live here now. Sad to see a local turn down business. Will not come back.

I never thought of reading the reviews of a liquor store but, I would have saved my family the time and frustration had I done so. Very rude woman in charge. Ordered me out of the store after I was trying to purchase $200 of beverage. Did I make a mistake in bringing my 20 year old son in to help me carry the bottles- maybe. How they handled it is why they don’t get any local support and likely won’t be in successful in business. Not even worth 1 star. Stay clear of these folks! Wouldn’t surprise me if they were Biden supporters as they have the same intellect.🙂

I went to the cashier to purchase $500 worth of wine and liquor. Manbun man verbally attacked me for not using a shopping cart. After a verbal berating from Manbun man, he refused to ring up my order and ordered me out of the store.

Upon review of previous customer dissatisfaction, I would recommend not supporting this very strange person. Immediately after leaving this store I drove to the closest liquor store and purchased same products for less money.
