I had never been to the BCH Erie Urgent care before but had occasion to visit one Sunday morning in November after developing a nasty cough. The UC opens at 8, I was there by 8:10 and there were three people ahead of me. Upon checking in I notice a sign stating due to limited staff the wait might be long. To my surprise I was taken back by 8:30. The medical team who cared for me were pleasant, knowledgeable, caring and thorough. I would go back again!

The facility is nice. The receptionist was really nice. The reason for the two stars is the nurse practitioner I saw that day was very rude. She talked to me as if I was uneducated and didn’t know what I was talking about. She dismissed how I felt and kept rolling her eyes at me. I never dealt with someone so abrupt and rude. I asked her to check my sinuses because I felt like I had a sinus infection and she said there’s no way of checking that. She said it in a way that made me feel dumb. Also, I have been dealing with sinus issues for over 20 years so I know that doctors check to see if there’s an issue with the sinuses. If I ever go back I hope I don’t see her! Btw, when I did get an appointment with another doctor I was diagnosed with a sinus infection!

The Urgent Care staff was great. The various tests they made identified that I had a Viral URI that couldn’t be treated by drugs. The online notes provided good information on how to fight the flu conditions.

they are usually very very fast. but keep your eyes open for signs that say they are short staffed. i feel bad for them when this happens! i’m happy to wait because they are so helpful and so friendly. the nurses and techs are always nice and truly listen to their patients. the location is about half an hour from me and i’m happy to make the trip!

The receptionist was gracious and patient with my wife who has dementia. We were quickly taken to a room. Our nurse and the other staff were professional, caring and thorough. A not so happy situation was handled as well as possible

this urgent care is the best in town very professional front desk staff minimal wait time MA & RN are the best very knowledgeable and concerned about you being there. i live in broomfield but i drive to erie to see the urgent care if i need to. i would recommend this facility to anyone in need. believe me you won’t regret

Everything ran so quickly and smoothly that we went straight from the registration desk to x-ray. We had the x-ray results by the time we were seen by the practitioner 20 minutes later. It couldn’t have been an easier or faster experience. Zac, the nurse practitioner was fantastic as was the tech.
