Just discovered your bookstore, and wow—we're obsessed! The vibe was chill, the staff was super helpful, and the book selection? Absolutely on point! We spent what seemed like a lifetime browsing, fell in love with several local children’s books, and left with $200 of, what I’m sure will be, our new favorite reads. Thanks for being the highlight of our Bethany Beach adventure!

I'm not exaggerating when I say that visiting Bethany Beach Books was one of the highlights of our trip to Bethany Beach!
The selection was incredible. One instantly realizes that the staff truly cares. From the helpful synopsis cards highlighting some of the staff's picks, to their excellent personalized recommendations, you are sure to leave with your next fantastic read!
One such staff member recommended Part-time Mermaid when I said I was looking for a beach/ocean themed book for my 4-yr-old to mark her first trip to the shore. It was PERFECT. My daughter absolutely loved it! (I think the staff member may have been named Carrie-Ann? Regardless-- thank you!)
And after reading one of the synopsis cards, I walked away with The Lost Apothecary. It made for a great, fast beach read! I haven't read for pleasure in such a long time, but this made for such a welcomed return!
Definitely check out Bethany Beach Books on your next trip; you won't be disappointed! Amazon & Big Box will NEVER be able to offer even a sliver of the quality service you will experience there!

This place is a must stop indie book store gem for your beach reading needs.

All the best sellers are shelved on the wall to the left of the door as you walk in.

Go ahead and sign up for their frequent reader program, and you may end up with $10 off a future purchase if you like reading.

The staff reviews on in stock books are a great touch, available right below the titles on the shelf.

There is a section for everyone, so take the whole family in to browse.

The discount section is in the window room overlooking Garfield Parkway and is worth a stroll for a nice bargain.

Hand sanitizer is available just inside the door for your convenience.

My daughters and I found your bookstore for the first time and had so much fun shopping there! The staff was very helpful and the selection was mostly great! Plenty to choose from, good deals on some select books, and such a fun happy atmosphere! We were there a couple hours and we all walked out with full bags of books to take home! We also intend to continue shopping online until we make it back there. Thank you for being a highlight in our girl shopping day trip!

Love this place. Packed with a great selection of all genres. They also have an extensive selection of children's books.
