My favorite restaurant in the town of Bethany!! The food is incredible, the drinks are amazing (especially the sangria!), and the atmosphere is so much fun. I highly recommend the pork belly burnt ends and the smokehouse mac skillet - so delicious!!

Also, if you need a place to host an event, Bethany Blues is wonderful to work with. I had my wedding welcome party here (for a catered dinner) and everything was perfect. The food was amazing and the service was great for all of the people we had in one of their upstairs rooms!

We enjoyed our time at this location, which we have never been to. We were not aware of the popularity of this area and stumbled on it as we were hungry from a day of going to other places. We were happy to see how clean this place is. We were seated right away and waited a short while for someone to come to our table who brought us fresh cornbread and butter. Yumm. Our server was friendly and took our orders. Our drinks were tasty. I liked my wife's more than mine. And her meal tasted better than mine. She had their Angus burger, and I had their ribs. Her burger was very nice and tender and tasty. I thought I would very much enjoy the St. Louis ribs, but I wasn't thrilled. They were tasty but not as much as I hoped for since this is a bbq place. And I found myself adding bbq sauce from the condiment rack. Anytime I eat bbq ribs, I really don't want to add something. I wasn't to enjoy them as they are. If we were to cine here again, I'd order the burger. The beans were okay, as well as the bbq potato salad, but nothing to brag about. The food gets a 4 star rating because the cornbread was a nice unexpected starter that was fresh and had good texture and flavor, especially with the butter. And of course, how good the burger was. And they have a very good mac & cheese. We also enjoyed our drinks.

Disappointing for a $30 plate of barbecue. The mac n cheese was clearly made with cheese sauce and the coleslaw was wilted. The turkey did not taste fresh, but the brisket was good (for an extra $3 per plate). Restaurant had live music on Saturday night which was pleasant, and the mule I ordered was strong. Decent for a tourist destination right on the beach but I wouldn’t go again.

We had dinner at the bar on Valentine’s Day. The place was packed but the service was excellent. The bartender was an absolute pro. He was fun, had great suggestions and worked quickly. I wish I would have gotten his name but he is the reason we will go back!

This is an edited review to reflect the high standards, professionalism and exemplary customer service demonstrated by this establishment. My first review was based on our take-out experience which was courteous, efficient and included many delicious side orders, but failed to meet our expectations in the entree department. The owner/manager responded and apologized to our satisfaction, but he also insisted on refunding us for the unsatisfactory items AND mailed us a gift card (because we live out of town.) I'm exceedingly impressed by this business's dedication to its customers, something which has become all too rare. We will definitely be enjoying Bethany Blues BBQ the next time we're in town, and recommend everyone support this excellent restaurant.

Visited my nephew and his family at Bethany Beach in August and we went here for dinner on a Friday night. The wait was brief, maybe 15 minutes, and everything turned out better than I expected especially since I am a plant based eater (and I had some nerve going to a BBQ place!). The dish I ordered was absolutely delicious-so fresh. I asked for a vinaigrette dressing substitute which was no problem at all and went well with my food. The service was great and everyone was happy with their meal choices. We had a wide age range in our party - infant all the way up to 40s - everyone left happy!
