2010-2015 Beautiful and well kept store. Fresh produce and well stocked. Customer service was always nice to me. The recycling has a lot of machines and sometimes jam up.

Went in to the sandwich shop three people behind the counter one working ever so slowly while the other was working in the pizza area even the general manager walk right behind the counter to check the a calendar finally after 25 mins a lady was taking phone calls filling cheese rather than helping that poor young man with sandwich orders so she says sometimes we just need a second and I replied some of us don’t have a second and omg she went off the handle told me next time to call ahead for simple chicken salad sandwich no thank you big Y your no surprise and definitely not my store I’ll be taking my money else ware

The store represents itself as a family community store that's not my experience when I'm at the self checkout they stare at me the whole time I've been a customer for 20 years never had an issue I realized there's a lot of shoplifting going on nowadays but I'm a regular customer and they know me whenever I have a question where something is I get nothing but attitude such as it's right in front of your face they can't stand instacart shoppers even though they're bringing in business if I could give them a minus one review I would

They have an amazing bakery! I have been getting birthday cakes there for about 20 years they're buttercream frosting is delicious! The produce is always fresh and they always have everything I'm looking for.

So disappointing every time I go to the wing bar which is at least 3x a week there is never no macaroni and cheese I ask the clerk and the same answer they ran out of it which I don't believe I think there not making a back up other Big Ys always have it cause I used to work in all different parts of CT so if there's no Marconi and cheese I don't want the chicken it's so disappointing cause they never have it
