I was able to get an appointment the next day, they sent a notification a few minutes later and again on the day of my appointment. They had great customer service skills.

When I arrived I was greeted with a friendly smile, I didn’t have to wait and they were very thorough with my eye exam and took care of my needs and concerns.

The rudest customer service I've ever experienced!!!!! It started with a phone call of me asking what time they close the response was are you picking up or buying. He answered me with you have to be here by 6:00. When I hung up I realized he never even answered my question I immediately called back and was sent to voicemail. When I reached the store I was greeted with the same question. I told him I was looking to buy and he responded with well there's two people ahead of you so I may or may not get to you tonight (who says that to a customer?) I responded with yes you will I drove all the way here and there's one hour still left until you close. I decided on two pairs of glasses. Progressive glasses and progressive sunglasses. I had my prescription with me. I was measured and left. When I was called to come in and pick up my glasses I noticed when I tried them on I couldn't see anything. They told me to wait until the morning because my eyes were used to my regular prescription. Okay fine. In the morning I realized everything was the same and I couldn't read. I went to my eye doctor so they could take a look. This man totally measured me wrong and I mean very wrong! Way off!! Where he put the dots on the glasses were nowhere where they were supposed to be so my eye doctor did their job and redotted it in the right place. I brought them back and explained to them they did it wrong. No apology, no nothing but rather tried to tell me there's probably something wrong with my eyes!! Mind you this man who measured me explained to me previously when I was purchasing that he owned an eyeglass store in Wilton for 20 something years! I find that hysterical since he can't even measure! They redid my glasses and still were not apologetic whatsoever and still rude. I will never purchase from the BJ's optical store again especially their rude workers they have working in the optical shop!

BJ's Fairfield Optical has a great selection of quality frames. Asher and Todd are professional and patient. They are licensed and have many years of experience. The prescription is measured correctly and the frames are fitted and adjusted perfectly. I have been a customer for many years; new glasses when my prescription changed, and adjustments as needed at no cost. I highly recommend BJ's Fairfield Optical.

Optometrists are not in the office so I didn’t like because they speak with you by a screen 📺🫤
