Well this is the home.of the Big Ass sandwich menu I got a BA tenderloin and didn't disappoint. They special order buns to cover this thing . Tenderloin was everything to wxpect from a Indiana tenderloin. Also make.their own chips as well . The star of our meal was the Bourbon Apple Pie me and wife split and it was incredible, from the crust to the filling and the bourbon sauce .

Let me start with service here, our waitress (Janeene) was simply stellar. We're it possible to give more than 5 stars, I'd give her 11, cuz damn she was amazing.

We decided to go here for the outside seating and the fact our pupper could hang out with us. We had water brought out for him before we were fully seated. That is the kind of treatment you want on a warm day.

The draft beer selection was probably one of the finest we've ever had at a place not focusing on beer. Did a 3 beer "flight" and ended up adding 2 more before we left simply because the choices were so good and it'll be a couple months before we will make it back to Fort Wayne.

All the food was excellent, but the onion rings were out of this world. I'd go back just for those, but the burger was delicious as well. Perfectly cooked, seasoned without being overpowering allowing you to taste all the toppings and the grilled to perfection bun.

Another person with us got the chili and upon sampling it, I wish I had more room in my stomach, oh well, an excuse to go back in October.

Do yourself a favor, even if it's a bit outta your way, stop in and enjoy some top teir bar food.

Oh, the beyond burger is huge and we had one of our party doing the happy food chair dance, so I suspect it's a great choice for the vegetarian in your group.

Tried the Black Dog Pub for the first time. Food was great, which included a cup of chili, Pat E. Melt, and a build your own burger. Service was friendly and fast. Would have been 5 stars, but the whiskey sour wasn't very good.

This is one of my favorite hangouts where the food does not disappoint. The servers are very friendly and their are so many delicious meals to choose from. The ribs are by far my favorite at a very reasonable price. The place makes me feel like I am at home. I can even bring my daughter as they have a family room. Even though it is a 25 min drive for me, I always look forward to going!

17AUG24 - Lunch with old friend again. BBT, again. Breaded mushrooms, again.
More pictures! See ya next year!
18AUG23 Lunch; another BPT, more mushrooms. Still good though not quite excellent. Breading was a little over cooked on the loin and the bun was stale, fell apart in my hands. I'll still be back every time I'm in town. ? (Added another photo)
26SEP22 Met some of our friends for dinner. Had to get another one and the mushrooms.
19AUG22 Stopped in again, Still excellent ? and you really need to try those breaded mushrooms ?.

Excellent BPT, awesome Onion Rings and those fresh made to order Breaded Mushrooms ?. Makes me wish I lived 1,000 miles closer.
Ft. Wayne has a true gem in The Black Dog Pub. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely be stopping in again!
And if they have a drink called Dog Tags, try it!

5 of us girls came in for birthday on Tuesday and we had a great time! The food was amazing! We shared spinach dip and each had a sandwich and the peanut butter pie… yummmm !!! Janeen was our server and she was very friendly and attentive!
