We went in for lunch on Friday. It wasn’t very busy. The vibe was kind of just blah. There were 3 TVs none of them were on, no music. Right before we left they tuned the TV’s onto the news network. Not really what I’m looking to watch while trying to enjoy lunch at a brewery.

The waitress was very nice and made us feel welcome. I’m not a big beer drinker but they seem to have a good variety of their own brews on tap.

The menu had many options of sandwiches and Thai food. We ordered the pineapple shrimp and rice, the Pad Thai shrimp and a Rib Eye Sandwich. The Thai food was not quiet as good as The Asian Experience down the street, but it was pretty good. The Rib Eye Sandwich was humongous and tasty. The crinkle fries were very good. We spent a little over $20 a meal.

Traveling through on way back to Bay Area, saw their sign in Taft and called about WNBA finals. When we rolled up, the owner had the game on with sound. Steak salad was delicious and Mexican Lager is to die for !

This was a great place to eat for great food. The staff was super nice and the food was not only great but came fast.
We both had the basic burger and it was delicious. Definitely worth coming here.
I tried a recommended local beer and it was very good. I also had the onion rings to go with it so it was the perfect meal.

Be brave! Get off the damm freeway and eat here! The burgers are delicious and the rib eye is classic! It's totally worth the drive! Taft is full of Old time oil Americana you need to see before it goes away forever!

Delicious breakfast, and plenty of avocado on my omelette. The food was perfect- I've gone to too many places that do not season their potatoes. I would definitely come here again. The owner was very nice and let me hang out for a while after my meal out. Nice ambiance, and friendly service. I highly recommend.

The waiter was very helpful, and then the owner came over and ruined it. Apearantly, it is not ok to order a coors beer in a brewery. The steaks tasted kinda funny but very heavily seasoned, so we thought it was just the spices. But about an hour later, it all went south and kept going all night long. I wouldn't go back there.

I stay in Taft frequently for work and this place has become my go-to spot for a beer and delicious food after a long days work. The beer is amazing - you can tell there is serious pride in the small batch brewing done here. His classic IPA and milk stout are outstanding. The food is great, too (especially the Thai/Asian food). Can’t go wrong - worth stopping by whether you’re a local or just passing through.
