What a blast! My daughter and her friends had such a great time bowling, eating pizza and hanging out with her friends. I was an ease knowing they were safe and sound. The bowling alley has many different options and choices for graphics, bumpers; lights and so much more! This is not regular bowling folks! They have some really good employees too who were helpful, kind and efficient! They can get busy; but you will never wait in line for too long! They are good in there! This gentleman, who unfortunately I forgot his name, was exceptionally professional and a great representative of Black Oak. I cannot wait to bring the girls back again for another few rounds of bowling. There is plenty of free: safe and well lit parking as well as ADA options for inside and outside compliance. They even have these ball ramps to help with ADA and/or children. It’s incredible and a great family fun time!

It's the day after valentines and I really wanted to take my little sister out for a treat wrong I waited 2 hours for my reservation which was fine as long as we got bumpers it was all cool lane 10 doesn't have working bumpers btw which I didn't know at the time but the girl who sold it to me did thanks Rosalinda you promised bumpers, 2/3 employees were awful and rude the only okay thing was the old gentleman working that stepped in and made sure we got a refund waited 2 hours just to not even play way to waste your time in the worst way. Word of advice don't come here if you are expecting most workers to have compassion or even a good attitude half of the workers were snotty when all I wanted was a lane with bumpers. Don't waste your time.

Black Oak Lanes is a wonderful venue for family time. They've updated some things throughout the years, and it shows. Beautiful atmosphere. There was tons of fun for the kiddos from arcades to food to good ol bowling.

Well, I've been here a couple of times for family fun and business. The staff here in the bowling alley are either constantly changing and they have 0 training or their staff just doesn't care how they act. They take their time longer then 30 min, speak with attitudes, and were rude to my kids. I have 3 teens. My teens don't run around, scream or cause problems or leave our section unless they need something. Literally had staff standing behind us all night asking us questions about our shoes? Interrupting our game all night more than once walking in between us and our tables when they could walk around. Was there a reason? My kids were appropriately dressed and played their games. We came here with gma. A family game night. What was the issue? Were we being stereotyped? Were we just being ignored, was it a racial issue, what was the issue to be disrespectful? I'm disappointed. I preferred this casino itself to others in northern CA. If you know me I speak honestly. Some of the staff I know because I work in the medical field and some of them are patients whom I adore. Black Oak, be careful who you hire and how you treat guests. My opinion is actually taken into consideration on here. I have Government, Admin and HR experience and ethics matter I know what I am talking about. There's a lot more even literally as the timer ran out they ran right up to our table before we could even grab our stuff. I have another 3 pages to write if you only knew.

This review is for casino only.
1-kids and family area isn’t open every day so we couldn’t play long because my kids were waiting in the car! and there was not any other area that kids be allowed to go and waiting there.
2- some slots machine don’t have decrease bet button so if you accidentally increase your bet not only you can’t decrease it but also you can’t cash your money out and your only option is just to play that bet.( kind of the scamming that you can’t pull your money out before play)!
3- they offer you beer but then they ask you for money! Only water and soda is free not beer!

In from Florida at our Cabin and thought we’d have some family fun bowling. Nope. Reservations required while lanes were clearly open. Went to arcade and most games were not working. So much for family fun time.

We love going bowling with our 4year old here always so much fun. My only complaint is we went today and we were on lane 18 when we paid and got started nobody bothered to tell us the lane was broken and either no one could use bumpers or everyone has to use bumpers and use a 10 pound ball or less.. obviously we were not gonna take the bumpers away from our 4 year old. When I asked if they could move us to a different lane 21 and 24 were open I was told those lanes had bumper issues too. We still had a blast bowling as a family. Just this info is something that should be shared before people start bowling. We will still continue to go and have fun I will probably just double check if our lane is broken before we start lol.
