I'm so glad I found out about this brand! I popped in at their UES location for a mid-morning sweet treat, and I literally couldn't pick. There were so many delicious options!

I got a chocolate brownie bite, which was the perfect size and soooo yummy!

Having locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn, makes it a perfect spot for a coffee catch up anywhere you are.
Next time we bring sweets to the Supp office for the team will be from Black Star Bakery!

Love love love Black Star. It has my favorite chai latte on the UES, and their breakfast food is stellar. The sriracha, egg, and cheese sandwich is a favorite, as is the breakfast burrito. They’ve also recently redone their back patio, upgrading the furniture and offering more and better seating. It’s a perfect spot for a quick outdoor breakfast or lunch.

It’s a cute bakery located on the 84th street with a back patio. Overall, they have a great variety of products and employees are fast. My only complaint is the price and size imbalance. We paid over $35 for two breakfast sandwiches and it took me less than a minute to finish mine.

The taste and freshness were good, but I’d expect a larger sandwich bread considering the premium price that they charge.

Awesome place! Cozy atmosphere, great cafe and even better pastry. What makes the place special is the staff, they are all very friendly, welcoming and can make a good cafe! Especially barista Josh has been great, always overdelivering!

Beverages and dessert options were delicious! Unfortunately, laptop usage is restricted to certain tables and wifi is not available for customers. Overall, not a friendly work spot if you are looking to use your laptop while enjoying a beverage/ food item.

Super cute shop! There’s indoor seating, as well as in front of the shop and in the super cute back patio (a wonderful surprise!).

Service is friendly with genuine smiles and conversation from everyone behind the counter.

I had a toasted almond croissant ? delicious, soft, fresh, with an unexpected sweet almond light cream filling. My chai latte with almond milk was delicious and perfect.

Prices are reasonable, considering the area.

The music is a vibe, calm, relaxing. Great for studying, remote work, or a coffee date.

They offer a punch card rewards program ? great way to build and maintain clientele.

Harry Blunder

Lovely new place to get an excellent cup of coffee (Oslo coffee roasters). Good selection of pastries, sandwiches, snacks, etc. Very friendly and upbeat staff that keeps the place clean all the time. A few tables inside, but already looking forward to the outdoor seating in the (tiny) back yard. Avocado toast and Breakfast burrito tasted great. However, the Steak & Egg plate ("weekend special") with its wafer-thin slices of beef cooked to grey was a let down.

Real food. Real coffee. Really cute. Cute UES hole in the wall cafe with an INCREDIBLE selection of baked goods. Pretty okay espresso, not specialty though. They have a very legit menu that will surprise you!
