Black Tie movers came highly recommended to me and Kevin Cameron. All seemed to go great as they put everything on the truck on Oct 1 and delivered to our new home on Oct 2. It was supposed to be a team of 4 people but we only had 3. Chris who was the lead was great to work with. The 2 star review is because the drawer on one nightstand had a big chunk broken off of the drawer and someone tried to glue it back in place. You can see from the photos it was a horrible repair job and now I can't try to repair it properly. Several days after the move to the new house we noticed that one arm of the rattan sofa was chewed up. No one said anything about it. Since we didn't opt for some additional insurance, Black Tie is giving us $75 for the damage. This will not even cover the cost of a new nightstand. Highly disappointed in how the damage was handled.

The response by Black Tie was the typical email them. This was discussed with them over the phone and all they offered was the $75.00.

Black Tie Moving hands down is simply priceless. The big day came and I was greeted with prompt and polite workers to start the moving process, ending the day with them being proactive and professional. Even though we only moved locally into a house, the care and respect they had for my belongings spoke wonders. I would hire them to move me across the world if possible. From wrapping and securing items in the truck, to the respect of walls and corners all around, full circle they made sure everything was accounted for as if it was their own. Thank you Black Tie Moving for making a tense and stress-filled day very care free and breezy.

Amazing experience with Black Tie Moving in Rehoboth Beach DE for a local move. They were FAST and reasonably priced! I called on Friday and was scheduled for the next Monday. The GM Matt called on Sunday before the move and was very informative and professional, letting me know what to expect. When the crew came on Monday they were courteous, quick and careful. Everything was done before we knew what happened, from wrapping furniture to getting everything in the truck without issue. I would 100% recommend them in the future.

My builder told me about Black Tie Moving Delaware. Called Matt and he showed up on time and was very professional with how the process works and the flexibility of the move date as needed. On move day the crew called and told me what time they would be arriving. Chris was the lead for the crew of 4 people and 2 trucks. I showed them all the rooms and they got to work. I saved time and money by packing a lot of the furniture myself. The items I didn't have time to pack were handled by the crew. You can let them pack your house or you can do some of it yourself like I did. When we arrived at the new house, I directed them on where to put items that did not have a label. We didn't see any damage to the walls and that was great because I had 2 rooms upstairs. I bought the crew some pizza/soda and they got the job done. Excellant experience with the whole process. If you need help moving give Matt and his crew a call.

Black Tie Movers are a wonderful company to work with. They called me and we went over my list of furniture that needed to be moved room by room. I paid the $250 fee to secure my spot. The night before they called me just to go over everything again just to make sure they had it correct. Today was my move, the driver Chris called me just to confirm the address and give me their arrival time. Once they arrived they introduced themselves and they went right to work. It took about 3 1/2 hours to load the truck. They took extreme great care of my mirrored furniture. They wrapped my dressers so nothing would scratch or scrape. We were meeting another truck that was coming from my boyfriend’s house which had a piano and a grandfather clock and other things. They worked together at emptying the trucks. I bought them pizza because they didn’t even take a break. Great teamwork, polite and respectful of my property. They even rolled out a red carpet so they wouldn’t scuff up my flooring. I would totally recommend Black Tie Movers anytime!

Please make sure the wheather is clear before. I used them on a snowy day and multiple pieces woth nicks on them now. They will just give a value fee of under $100 in credit. Seriously do not waste your time. The driver was also inside his vehicle smoking weed after and before moving my stuff. We watched them sit and do it

We used this company in May and in June of this year. The first move went well. The lead mover had a little bit of an attitude but my husband's chatting and early tip for all the guys brightened him right up. Most of the guys did have a great attitude. The furniture was wrapped well. The second move was excellent. The lead mover was Gabe and he is the reason it was excellent. He made sure all the guys did what they needed to do properly. The reason we cannot give five stars is because of a small dent on the dining room table. The table must have been placed on it's side. Several blankets should have been placed on the ground to prevent this. Other than that, we would still recommend this company.

I had a great experience with Black Tie Moving. When I called to learn more about their services and schedule the move, Ben was fantastic. He was so friendly and helpful. Then when it came time for the actual move, Matt was very communicative and responsive. The movers themselves were quick and efficient. I recommend their services!
