I have been searching for a home to place my grandfather in and absolutely overwhelmed at all the options. It's my first time having to deal with this so I was unclear on how everything worked. I made a phone call to Brookdale and spoke to a wonderful lady named Amber on the phone who was incredibly informative. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with her while she explained to me the benefits, amenities, and logistics of how everything worked for this community. Unlike the other phone calls I had placed to other places this one was incredibly genuine. I booked an appointment and can't wait to come and check this place out next week!

If your reading this, then you are looking for a place for loved one regarding Asissted Living, etc. When I first walked in, it has a very, very home feeling. The staff are all very friendly and I could see that the residents were being taken care of with love and caring. You will not be disappointed. When I've left messages the staff returns my call immediately. My Dad enjoyed the food. They had a menu at every table.i looked no further after touring Brookdale Loma Linda. They have great activities everyday. Please go and check them out.

Trust me, do not place your parents at this particular location. I moved my Mother out after she was robbed of her credit cards, social security cards, and identity. They're were numerous stolen charges that I'm dealing with from this episode.
After calling the Sheriff Dept, and filing a report. I followed up with the officer, it was confirmed the cards were stolen from her room. I have since moved my parent from this place. This is just 1 of many issues. Beware!!!!!!!

In response to the owner's reply. On site management disregarded my concerns and accepted no responsibility regarding the incident. Only after i advised I was moving out a parent due to SAFETY concerns, management decided to finally contact us to address the issues. (So I thought ) If you as the owner was so concerned, why haven't YOU contacted my family? Lastly, yourself (owner) nor the management of this facility did not in fact contact the local authorities, as I recently picked up the Police report., I have been in contact with the officer via email that made the report and he advised the owner nor local management has not made any contact to follow up on the incident.

Brookdale staff was wonderful when having to choose placing our loved one in their community. They were great and very helpful. The entire staff is great they assist each patient and treat them with respect. I would recommend them to any of my friends and family. They also made my family member comfortable and welcome which made the transition easier. My family member does love the place.

As I would give the Brookdale, Loma Linda facility a good rating overall, I have an issue with them allowing my mother or anyone else for that matter to move next to a room of a resident that has HORRIFIC odor. If the door is open to that unit, the hallway has a HORRIFIC smell. This is all the time. Any resident, guest or employee is subject to having to smell that as they walk through the hallway. Now that it is hot, the odor permeates into my mother's room. Brookdale, Loma Linda should not allow any new resident to move near this unit. Because of the hygiene of this particular resident, they infringe on all residents, guests, and employees right to a clean smelling environment. In my mother's case, her right to a clean smelling unit. I don't want to visit with my mother and have to smell the odor as it permeates through her room. They have offered to change her room, which we will do when the right unit becomes available. The problem is the resident with the HORRIFIC odor not my mother. This affects so many people.

I have lived here for 3 1/2 years and have had a pleasant experience with the wonderful staff especially my nurse AJ . At first I was hesitant to Move from home but after my family’s motivation I tried it out and I am it so glad I did. The meals and daily help are very important to me . The employees go above and beyond to help me with my daily needs and wants . The location is great , everything is nearby and the views are nice . Transportation provided makes life easier .

My mom has been there for almost three weeks so far. And I will say- So far, So good. It is clean... smells good. There are activities for the residents including exercise and outings. The staff has been - if not perfect- pretty good! They have been mostly responsive to everything we have asked for.. There are lots of opportunities for the residents to participate in what is going on from Menu chat with the head chef to craft and hobby times. Lovely library and computer room upstairs..

I know the resident programs assistant Celina loves her job. She is friendly and helpful. She loves to organize activities. He prescience makes this place a diamond. Such employees are precious. They help make this establishment a joy for the residents and visitors alike. Kudos to the management for employing staff with hearts that are full of love for what they do.
