Pastor Andy Lake preaches biblical truth, along with the rest of our Leadership Team. Also, the Church members are welcoming and there are so many great ministry opportunities for all ages. This year the AWANA Clubs at Buckingham Baptist tripled in size, praise God!

My pastor's wife and I came for a ladies meeting. And we still haven't stopped talking about it it was one of the best ladies and things I've ever been to! They went all out to share the gospel and make us feel special at the same time! I know they had to have gone into the hole for they did not charge much for the meeting but they gave much much more! Thank you Buckingham Baptist ladies and pastor's wife!

We received a flyer in the mail so I decided to take my grandson for Vacation Bible School. It started at 6pm. No where on the flyer did it say that dinner would be served so we ate before we went. Once we registered, we were informed that there was Burger King chicken nuggets and burgers available and were pointed in the right direction. The members were nice but everything was a bit chaotic and unorganized. We didn't know where to go or what to do. After leaving the dining area, we were directed to the main building. There were games for the younger children and separate games for the teenagers all in the same area. There were lots of prizes and I don't think any of the kids got left out. If I have to give a negative comment, it would be the story teller who also did a puppet act. However sweet she was, the puppet voice went from extremely quiet to extremely loud and was just a very odd presentation. The same person did the story telling and again, it was staggered and boring. She seemed like a very sweet person but probably not a good choice for story telling to a group of children ranging in ages from 5 to 17 or so. There was a cartoon video of the story of David and Goliath which would normally be fine for children over the age of 9 or so but showing the decapitated head of Goliath being held up by David was too much for younger children. My grandson had nightmares that night stemming from that scene. I've read him the story and also have DVDs of this story for him but the ones we have are age appropriate for younger children.
Again, everyone was friendly and kind and I'm sure it's a lovely church family, but we didn't feel a good fit for us.

The church members of Buckingham Baptist show true love and kindness to others and keep missions as a top priority. I am so grateful for the Pastor, his family and all the fellow believers at Buckingham Baptist Church. Thank you for being such a blessing to our family!

Good local guide. Great bus driver . Good ability to read sermons. Would love to hear sermons about deception and deceit in the church. Should a pastor resign before or after the church is financially damaged
