The food was good here! I had the seafood platter. It had fish shrimp and scallops with asparagus and broccoli! For an appetizer, we had seafood stuffed mushrooms!

We've always loved this place. They are known for the best prime rib.
Clean. Family oriented. Food is always tasty and always feel full after. Sometimes too full 🙄😆.
Waitresses are always kind and patient.

This place was amazing The food was spectacular the wings were great I did come on a Sunday I waited a bit to be greeted by somebody I sat down I was told by a colleague I could order the wings and split the flavors but that was not true they said you had to order eight wings at the same flavor. Which brings me not wanting to eat 16 wings I only need is 8 So I would like to try to different flavors once I was seated the bartender was spectacular service it's great price was great

I feel like we were robbed. $90 before tip for food quality that is slightly above diner quality. Save your money and go somewhere else. Pot roast was bland, and a side of asparagus that had no seasoning at all and was complete mush and the bathroom was gross. I’m blown away at the prices charged versus quality served. Step it up or lower your prices, we can drive a half mile down the street to downtown Niantic, spend the same amount of money, and get much higher quality food, cleaner bathrooms, and a better atmosphere. .

Calamari was bad quality and way under portion for $15. Scallops were bland. Didn’t finish. First Bacon burger was uncooked, fish and chips were undercooked had to send both back. Burger number 2 was very very basic. Soaking wet bun from cheap beef, fries were cheap string fries, pickle was gross soggy cheap pickle. We were wondering why there was no one there on a Saturday night. This is why. I will never ever come back to this place. Terrible all around.

We went there for the very first time the other day, and completely enjoyed ourselves! It’s newly taken over by a local restauranteur who has a great track record.

The food was delicious and the service was perfect! We had Greta, and she was absolutely delightful!

I ordered the shrimp and mango salad, which was scrumptious, and my husband ordered the love salad, which was delicious with a side of the garlic chicken wings that were cooked to perfection not greasy just delicious !

So, yeah, definitely check it out. The only thing I would comment is that the building could be updated to reflect a fresher look-which I’m sure the new owner has plans for! 😉🙏🏻

We like the variety at Charlie's Place and always enjoy our food. The breakfast is awesomeness. The greatest thing is if the order is not perfect the way you like it Charlie takes it back in the kitchen and fixes it with no issues. Always great service and the atmosphere is nice. Never feel rushed. We have to sit the bar area because it's handicapped accessible and it's very enjoyable. We have never had to wait long to get a table. Even when busy.
