Fix your cell lines or something its 9am on a Thursday, why is it taking 6 years to get someone on the line? (option 2) and then the line hanging up cause no one is answering.

Update: They replied below with clarification.

Compared to the demeaning and arrogant County Clerk staff in Venice, this place is a breath of fresh air. Customers (tax payers) feel actually welcome here, because the Clerk’s office in Port Charlotte is run in a professional manner. Staff and management seem to care. A passport application took us less than 15 minutes, including photos. Overall a very good experience. Thank you!

Stay far far away!!!!!
Rather cut my arm off than deal with anyone in that building on all 3 floors. Nice, polite, helpful workers do not exist there. And good luck finding a parking spot in summer and forget it in Yankee bird season like everywhere else!

i wish i could deal with a better attitude. it takes me days to work up a quote because i hate to call this place. i ask a question because i dont know the answer. they talk like im dumb for not knowing. then they huff and puff. i almost dont wanna do screens.

They are very helpful and friendly, yet also professional. They will help everyone, especially guide the pro se (diy) litigant any way they can. I give them a 5 star rating, but would give them 10 stars, if it was available. Normally, there no waiting period, but every once in a while they is a short waiting period...normally less than a couple of minutes to 5 minutes. Thank you Clerks!

Excellent service! To renew my son’s passport, the only one office that really want to help the community. We tried to do this in four different offices and they were not receiving any application (we don’t understand why?) always excuses about COVID, but this one really want to make u feel your taxes money are worth it.

Still can't figure out how to get an application for extension on tickets I need to pay so everyday it gets closer and closer to me getting my licence suspended I live in St Pete don't have my car anymore can't get to clerk in Charlotte county !!!!!!

It’s not only the employees but the people here that have no clue that you should respect peoples rights and when you don’t respect peoples rights you disrespect the memory of every soldier buried in Arlington national cemetery how hard is it to respect people’s rights it’s not that hard.
