I absolutely 💯 love doing this walk! The homes are absolutely gorgeous! I love how they interact with the people passing by, singing outside, the dancing, decorating, etc. I took many photos, but one photo I wish I took was a beautiful woman in her 80s. She was sitting in her garage watching football! I asked her son if I could walk inside. We chatted. I loved to learn of her history. She lived in Brooksville and then there. Her son lived next door. She travels in her Sportscar, if I remember correctly! This woman is so beautiful 😍. You would never look at her and believe her age! Sitting in her beautifully decorated "garage" that looks like a living room! I hugged her before we parted and I thanked her son for allowing me to share time with his mom. I regret not having a photo with her because of all the photos we took, this was the absolute highlight of my night on Church Street this year! May God bless this beautiful family so next year I can get that photo! May God bless everyone that puts so much into the spirit of Christmas to celebrate the birth and arrival of our Lord Jesus Christ! He will live on forever!

The Church Street Christmas event is held December 21st through December 23rd each year from 7pm-9pm, irrespective of day. This signature event for Downtown Dade City in eastern Pasco County is held immediately before Christmas and is held on Church Avenue in the National Historic District, circa 1885. Many houses are brightly decorated for the season and there are a number of live music performances. Several Churches in the district also open their doors providing their own programs. This is a wonderful event for the entire family and is well worth participation.

Really a fantastic family experience
Everyone once in their lives should experience this wonderful tradition. Most of the homeowners participated. I say mos,t about 100 homes were decorated and maybe 3 or 4 did participate. Its just unbelievable how many people walk the streets with their families. I was my first time. But i will definitely be back next year. It was just amazing.

Beautifully decorated with many Christmas carolers and church choirs. Also fun activities for kids as well. We make it a point to go every year. Best part it's no charge and no parking fee
