This 18-hole, 72-par course is beautifully designed, with lush greens, well-maintained fairways, and challenging rough. Recent renovations include flawless grass carpets and superbly renovated greens, enhancing the overall playability.

The facilities are top-notch, featuring a welcoming clubhouse and a pro shop. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable visit. The cart boys deserve special mention for their enthusiasm and mannerisms.

As a veteran, I appreciated the much-appreciated discount, showing the club's support for the military community.

The only minor drawback was the ultra sensitive GPS cart-locking system, which occasionally stopped the cart on the path. Additionally, the absence of a driving range might be noticed by some, but the course itself offers plenty of opportunities to warm up.

Despite these minor inconveniences, Colonial Golf Club provides an outstanding blend of challenge, beauty, and hospitality. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or a beginner, this course offers a memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a top-tier golfing adventure.

The work this club has put in the last two years is incredible , greens are lush and run true , fairways always primed, clubhouse has a great feel to it and the staff is always incredible . Love this course

Had a frost delay so everyone was waiting at #1 tee box but when we were allowed to play things went very well. Actual playing time was about 3-1/2 hrs.

Just played today. This is probably the best public course in Huntsville area for the price!!! $23 walking military rate. Again $23! The greens are great! The fairways have good growth with a beautiful tree line. The staff was very friendly. The carts have GPS. I will definitely be back more than once.

This place is a hidden gem. I did not take any pictures. But I will be back. So I’ll be sure to get some. This course has beautiful greens, well maintained fairways, and really fun approaches. The prices are really fair too. They even have modern carts with digital screens mapping each hole for you and an option to keep a digital scorecard. However, they don’t have a driving range and food options are limited. No grill. Just hot dogs and snacks. I will be back to this course though. Can’t wait to play it again.

Good place for a high handicap golfer. Greens were good but fairways are tight on several holds. It was a little crowed but, it’s to be expected on weekend golf.
