The staff are pleasant when I come in and accommodating. I do think that the general area is kept up. Some of the rooms are hit or miss with needing some refreshing but I do feel like housekeeping staff work to present a clean room. It would be nice to see a little variety in the breakfast.

They have no housekeeping for the rooms, but they do keep the lobby clean. While the breakfast was hot, it was edible but it tasted average, not bad but not really great. The location was okay if you just want to stay in town but not much to do but drive around. The TV might work at times. And the fire alarms were pulled multiple times. False alarms. I won't stay there anymore. But it was cheap compared to holiday inn.

The hotel was a bit dated and is over due for renovations. My family and came in for our family vacation and stayed from Thursday to Sunday.My first room smelled like urine and the room was barely cleaned. The shower had hair in it. The sink was full of everything disgusting. The walls need to be cleaned in all the rooms.The house keepers were rude and not friendly at all. Ms. Sam was very accommodating moving me into another room. She was nice and patient with me. She offered sensible solutions and the general manager did come up and apologized for any inconvenience as well. They both made sure we were satisfied with our stay.Some of the rooms didn’t have the bolt latch to lock the doors securely. There were no working telephones in any of the rooms. The pool was dirty with no shade or towels. So we did not get in. We had to turn in towels in order to get new ones. Asking for trash bags was like pulling teeth. It wasn’t my best stay. Some of the staff and their kindness made the stay pleasant but the hotel itself was a no..

We had a 6 day stay (7/4 thru 7/9) at Comfort Inn and Suites on Jenks Ave.

The room (#322) was clean, air conditioner worked great so kept the room cool. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower was nice.

The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. That was huge for me!

Breakfast was good and convenient, especially the waffles, sausage patties and fresh fruit. I'm not a fan of powdered eggs, so only had those once. I wish the breakfast hours had been a bit longer. During the week, breakfast only goes till 9:00 a.m. which is about the time I'm waking up 🤣

The only thing that keeps me from leaving a 5 star review was the pool. Other guests left trash (including a dirty diaper), and it took a couple days for this to be cleaned. Some of the pool furniture was broken, and there are no umbrellas to give us shade. We understood that it was a holiday weekend and they may not have had maintenance working that weekend, so we just avoided the pool for the most part. Luckily there are beaches nearby!

If we vacation in Panama City again, we would definitely stay there again!!

It was convenient to the hospital. Room was clean. Bed super comfy. Staff very helpful on extension I needed, easy to get clean towels. Area was quiet. Hotel within walking distance of fast food.

The entire hotel had an ‘odor’ about it, as well as the room itself. There were a few things about the room the needed attention. 1. There was a missing mirror or art at the entry door, where the mounting hardware was left and it posed a hazard to due physically harm to someone. 2. The desk chair was broken and affixed in a permanent ’reclined’ position. 3. The knob to the shower would rotate 360 degrees without stopping. 4. The tub spout was able to pull away from the wall, allowing water to get into the wall and leak out at the corner of the tub and wall. 5. Missing a garbage can for small trash items. 6. Found food particles on bathroom counter. Upon checkout, I informed the woman at the counter that I had left a note chronicling the deficiencies I had found.
The stay was an inexpensive location for one night, but I would not likely recommend it to anyone.

We had issues with front desk attendant Gaby in the afternoons. One afternoon there was no tea and when we asked for some, she said they didn’t get their tea shipment. The next time we asked for fresh towels and she said we had to get them in the morning. We had just gotten back from a whole day at the beach and told her no one had told us that and we needed to give the kids a bath. She said towels were only available in the morning. We told her the day before we got them in the late afternoon and no one told us we had to get them in the morning. She grudgingly got us some towels and told us they usually never have towels in the afternoon and to make sure we got them in the morning. Never had any issues with anyone else but her.

While the staff were extremely friendly friendly and tried to do all they could to accommodate us our stay was less than we expected from being Gold Club members of Choice Hotels. When we checked the beds in our room we found that underneath one of the beds was something nasty and molding. We asked to change rooms but everything was booked we were told. Ok, we understood that. So we asked for it to be cleaned. Can't do that until tomorrow. So we chose to stay in an unclean room. Thankfully it was cleaned the next day and we expressed our gratitude. Meanwhile, the room had no remote control for the TV. We went to the desk and was given one that apparently went to the lobby TV. When it could power up the TV and not do anything else, we tried again later and were told there were no more remotes to be found. Again, not the fault of any employee. I find it sad that we never heard a word from any manager and were not even offered anything for our trouble. Seems like a sorry would be nice or a comp for the one night would be good business for Gold Club members. So I will wait and see if this gets any kind of real response from those who should be responding.
