Pastor Liz is not only the pastor here she gives back to the New Fairfield and Danbury communities.
Everyone will feel welcome when attending a service here. The garden service on Sunday morning is so special since you are surrounded by
the lovely flowers, pretty butterflies,
and singing birds. This is a wonderful family church. You can find your home church here. I raised my family as part of this church. The youth that participate in the Appalachian Service Project every year learn so many great skills and life lessons. Everyone gets a chance to be involved in church decision making.

As new residents of New Fairfield 7 years ago, we were looking for a church to join. We came to CCNF and the very first person we met was Liz Yoho. Her incredibly warm welcome made joining the congregation a no brainer and we were thrilled when she became our settled pastor. She leads by example - she is a warm, compassionate, thoughtful, inclusive, enthusiastic, and Godly leader. She brings people together and is the figurehead of a wonderful parish. Another review here says horrible things, and I wonder if this person has ever even met Liz. If it were true, the congregation would not be growing and thriving as it is under her leadership. We love our church and our pastor and highly recommend it to everyone. "No matter who you are or what your family looks like, YOU ARE WELCOME HERE!"

A lovely congregation focused on service to others. Treating people with respect. Did a great job managing the Covid crisis and continuing worship. Sponsor mission trips, host community groups, have a nice thrift shop run by church volunteers, do food and other drives for needed goods. Doing good Christian service.

Wonderful welcoming community. Liz is such a great leader and everyone in this church community is wonderful. Anyone who knows Liz and CCNF know how carrying and hands on this church community is. Liz is very active in the community and is always has our church giving back whenever they can. Who could more selfless during Covid opening our church building for food and goods for those in need. That in itself took a lot of hours, time and effort in a very difficult time. Keep

I’m so impressed with the members of this church and the good work they support through their missions efforts. A warm and welcoming congregation and ministry. It was a visit while away from our home church... also UCC. There was no discomfort because we were not "prospects". Interest was shown in our home church and how they compare... and any suggestions we might have for what we missed.
