We used this company for decor rental for a school graduation dance. They were easy to work with and very friendly. They have a huge inventory of supplies so I recommend emailing and asking for whatever you are looking for. I was able to look at photos of items for our theme and then stop by and see them in person. It worked out perfectly and everyone asked where we got the gorgeous fountain from. It completely made the decor!

In the autumn of 2023, we hired CT Stage and Theater Supply for a 1500-person party aligned with a business conference. We transformed a 40,000 square foot space into a spectacular Halloween-themed extravaganza. Working with their team was an absolute delight; they approached every challenge with a positive attitude, offered ingenious solutions, and ultimately crafted stunning sets for our event. The incorporation of stone walls, gated entrances, and a giant cauldron wow'd our attendees. The attention to detail was superb. Without a doubt, I plan to engage their services again in the future.

Here's a Hidden Gem for any last minute shoppers they have lots of costumes and props and wicked eye contact lenses you're welcome! Working with Dave and Donna was an absolute pleasure. They were on time, efficient, enthusiastic, incredibly kind, and very professional when it came to having the stage inspected by our City's Fire Department and Building Division. Our performers were impressed and thankful for their efforts to ensure that the stage was safe and secure for their high-impact stunts. Dave, Donna & Becca came to my rescue with no time to spare and helped me put together the Perfect Outfit on the day of the event!

I didn't realized until the last minute that the formal dinner that I was attending was a 'Theme Dinner' and that the outfit that I was planning to wear wasn't appropriate.

I literally went to CT Stage on Saturday morning and I had the perfect outfit to wear to dinner for Saturday night!

But, don't do like me and wait until the last minute! If you are looking for a Great Costume or props, shop early and I'm sure that you will find the Perfect Costume at CT Stage Theater Supply in Plainville!

I think that we are so lucky to have such a unique business in our area!

This is actually a must visit if you like unique and eclectic - which many theatre people do - but also for those of us who like to poke into corners, find little surprises and see a mish-mash of odds and ends. This is under new management (it was sold a year ago) with a crew who are obviously putting forth a great effort to make visitors feel welcome. I wish them continued success.
