Our family has been with Hockessin for 8 years making the step to competitive this year. The level of training and effort put in by Coach Dan Smith is top notch. He works them hard in practice, then let’s them play and work as a team in the field. As a parent I appreciate his calm sideline presence in lieu of the screaming coaches we often see from other teams. He always take the time to break down each game after and will give 100% to any player who wants to improve.

This year I was with Dan Smith, Coach Dan is a great person on and off the field. This year I have personally talked to my coach more than ever, he communicated with me and helped inspire me at the lower times in soccer when I didn’t wanna play. Anyone who actually plays for him would even say he is good and it’s people who have no idea what they are talking about who are trying to create chaos. Thank you Coach Dan!

This club has taught me well and improved my game. Dan Smith, or Coach Dan has used his knowledge of football from playing in Germany and taught me and my team well. We have had many ups and downs this season but Coach Dan still keeps trust in us. I am grateful to be coached by him. The people writing bad reviews, have no clue what they are talking about. They wrote negative comments to spread misinformation. These haters be praying on Dan’s downfall, but it ain’t gonna happen.

From the time I’ve been coached under Dan I’ve seen the tactical masterclass he’s provided for us and the team. His playing experience in Germany has made a case for one of the best coaches in Delaware. The bots that have been targeting Coach Dan are allegedly from Concord and their club is on the decline. These types of 4 year old insults online truly represents the club concord is.

My Delaware FC team may have it’s ups and downs, though the coaching staff is great (especially my coach Dan Smith) and I feel as though I’ve improved from the beginning of my experience till now. Also, I believe that my team as a whole has improved a lot considering chemistry, and talking in general. This also wouldn’t have been possible without the massive help Of coach Dan Smith.
