Food was amazing. For apps the fish sticks are very good, good chunks of fish with a yummy tartar sauce. The calamari was a huge plate! the macadamia crusted grouper was insane. It was perfect, the coconut sauce on it was delicious. Service was quick and so friendly. Outdoor dining had heaters on a cold night and some live music that was really good.

Went to Doc Ford’s for an anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. We started the celebration with very well made lemon drop martini and a Manhattan. For appetizer we had the calamari that was bread to perfection and very tasty. The appetizer was quite large in size. Our entrees were snapper with asparagus and bacon mashed potatoes which was absolutely amazing. And also ordered the special whole yellow tail snapper The presentation was eye capturing and the taste was truly delicious. We ended the evening with their homemade Key Lime Pie
Would highly recommend.

This was our first time at this restaurant. The food was good, although nothing special. A good choice especially considering that we were looking for a place were we could have a fast meal without eating junk food. Our favorite choice was the Clam Chowder. However, if you are looking for a cozy place, where you can have conversations and some privacy, this is not the place to visit. It is large, packed with people and very noisy. Servers are very friendly and helpful. Parking is free and abundant.

Doc Fords was an awesome experience. I had the Banana Leafed Grouper as shown, others had Planko Fried Shrimp, Cedar Plank Salmon, and Crab Cakes with a great apple slaw. Lemon Drops were our drinks!! Great food, I will return!!!

It was our first time there after hearing great things about the place. It did not disappoint. Food was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their selections from the crab cakes to what I was told was the best clam chowder soup by far she ever had. Service was great too. They were unusually busier on a Monday night but the staff stuck together and made it a great dining experience. We will definitely be back.

Such an enjoyable experience having lunch today at Doc’s. We sat outside on the upper porch and with such an enjoyable breeze it was amazing. Watching the boats and the dolphins. Started with the rum drinks and fried fish fingers. Super tasty. Perfectly seasoned and fried. Followed by Bloody Mary and grouper tacos. Awesome blackened fish also just right on the seasoning. We enjoyed a perfectly grilled burger that was excellent for a fish place I was pleasantly surprised. The draft beer was refreshing and local with a citrus flavor. The server was polite and friendly. We had to purchase a hat and a coffee mug on our way out. Lol. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be back soon.
