Excellent bbq along with top-notch service. We were able to be seated immediately for an early dinner without a reservation but recommend a reservation. My biggest problem was deciding which entree to order since everything sounded good. I ended up with the brisket burnt ends sandwich special and was not disappointed. The cornbread was a very tasty start to the meal, and the pretzel appetizer was good. There's 3 different bbq sauces at the table so you can customize your meal to your liking. Will definitely be returning to try more things on the menu.

Great bbq food with great sauces. The brisket is definitely the highlight. Portion sizes are big and the sides are tasty. Good selection of drinks including local beers. Excellent service too. Would definitely recommend.

Really solid BBQ joint! Our recent bbq adventures and the many great reviews had us really looking forward to the experience. The brisket egg rolls were phenomenal! Hands down best bite we had. Great crispy texture on the outside, and a soft, meaty, luscious inside packed with flavor! The Delmarva chicken was juicy and tender and had great flavor. The brisket was super tender, to the point it was just falling apart when trying to eat it! Just a bit on the dry side and not as juicy as I would have liked, but still very good! The coleslaw was ok, a lot better when we mixed it with the mustard sauce. Collard greens were good and flavorful, and bbq potato salad was a nice surprise.
Great friendly service all around as well! The manager was really nice in treating us to a round of drinks while we waited out a sudden downpour of rain to pass by. Great hospitality and homey environment perfect fit for Rehoboth.

My husband and I stopped in for a drink. Very nice restaurant. The menu had a variety of barbecue briskets and, of course, other delicious food to choose from. (pics on the menu)

The first bite of brisket was heavenly.

We were interested in having barbecue after not eating that for a couple years. Downtown Blues is a comfortable restaurant and I appreciate that most of the tables are booths. Food-wise, this place is excellent. The BBQ platter we ordered was fantastic. I recommend the kielbasa, brisket, and baby back ribs. Also amazing was the crab dip appetizer and the wedge salad. I wasn't as impressed with the two sides that came with the meat, but we were more than happy with our food.

Service was also great. The manager came out to explain what gluten free options there were when we asked. We asked for blue cheese dressing for the meat, which we highly recommend. The sauces they provide are also quite good (highly recommend the spicy BBQ, which was not too spicy and much more like a sweet sauce).

I was surprised to see that this place didn't have more business on a Sunday dinner hour. It definitely deserves to succeed. The meat was so juicy and tender, they are clearly doing something right!

Since it was NYE, we made reservations days earlier on open table. The hostess at the door couldn’t find the reservation, and even though there were plenty of open tables, seemed to have an attitude about accommodating us. It was our party’s first time with the “Blues” organization. The food was great and our waiter was very accommodating. After we finished our dinner, there appeared to be an urgency to have us move along - yes we felt rushed. We were glad the food was really good.
