My my dad moved in over 2 years ago into independent living and of course, it was an adjustment, although everyone was so helpful. The food was good and now the new chef is even better….wow!!! I run a luxury hotel and cant believe how good the food is for my dad. Management listens and is quick to help if you need anything. I adore the sales people here as well as the aids, physical therapists, drivers etc. An aid saved my dads life when he first moved in after a minor procedure by calling me to say my dad wasnt himself. I don’t feel comfortable having anybody I know or am related to being cared by a woman who goes out her way to be disrespectful and nasty to a woman with a disability. Is this really the kind of people you having working for you .

your organization should be completely ashamed of itself, we just visited edgewater at boca pointe. and residents were quick to warn us about the crazy golf carts that your employees use. they are a slap in the face to every resident that pays to live there. we saw for ourselves they are loud and backfire constantly. in addition the employees abuse them and create such a noisy environment it is unbearable. joyriding and disturbing the residents constantly.
I hope someone sues you for this, they can not be legal. they sure are unwanted by the residents.
wish people would do their jobs and not turn a once nice place into a dump.

My Mom is a resident and the staff, medical faculty, and administration do a very good job of her. Security is professional and attentive and I feel good they are around. Nicely maintained facility.

I think the nursing staff can be a little more pleasant. The way I was treated makes me wonder how are they treating the residents. It's very clean, check on your love ones look around the area. Staff needs more training

Very caring staff in this beautiful facility. My aunt lived here for 15 years. She was one of the oldest and longest residents. 102 years old. She died in February and I met many of the staff as we arranged a Celebration of Life for her after the funeral so her friends could share their memories of her with the family. The wait staff and Director of Food Services were very accommodating throughout the entire process, but more important, through her entire 15 years! I have visited other communities and Edgewater is extremely lovely, well maintained and the residents enjoy living there. I met three other women 101 -102 years old, so the lifestyle at Edgewater certainly contributes to a long happy healthy life.

Avoid this place, it sounds like a war zone on most days, many seniors have moved on including us because of how bad it had become over the past year. Edgewater is not pet friendly either, the zooped up golf carts that these people use, the pets do not respond well to them. and rarely was there anything to do.a serious lack of activities, so we moved 2 blocks down the road to much quieter place (The Stratford) and with more to do. turned out to be a great move for us.
