Recently had one of the most unusual shopping experiences of here. Showed up to buy a particular leopard gecko my son wanted. I purchased the tank complete with lights, bedding, etc from another local pet store that was in my car when I visited EEE. I offered to show the tank to the EEE employee. I was told I couldn't buy the lizard until my tank was set up and to return with a picture. I returned the same day with pictures of the tank as well as a temperature reading which was just shy of 85 degrees. The employee encouraged us to buy a wooden branch and some artificial foliage which we agreed to. After listening for 10 minutes to how he thought we should decorate the habitat he told us we need to buy another thermometer with a probe to prove we could get the wooden branch warmed up to 90 degrees. We are not new to leopard geckos. This is our 3rd and our current one bought as a juvenile is about 8 years old. While I appreciate the effort to make sure pets aren't being sold to people who have to plan to care for them, the level taken in our case were extreme. It shouldn't require 3 trips to a store to prove you are responsible enough to buy a lizard. Good news is I found a similar one at another store for half the price. Had we purchased the lizard from EEE would have become regular customers for our reptile needs. We won't ever go back.

Fantastic place. I highly recommend this store if you're thinking about getting a reptile or amphibian or need supplies for the ones you already have. The store is always clean and the animals well cared for. The owners are not only awesome but really knowledgeable about the animals. Lee was really helpful and informative as I was deciding what animal I wanted. I ended up getting a really cool milk snake, and I couldn't be happier.
Update 5-13-18: I picked up my jungle carpet python today. I am very happy and will continue to go back.

Update 9-30-2022: EEE will be at the Tucson Reptile Expo this weekend, Oct 1 & 2. I support this business and hope you will too!

I absolutely love EEE!! They are so knowledgeable and extremely helpful! Every time I go in there with my endless questions they take the time to thoroughly answer them and educate me. I never feel rushed no matter how many questions I ask. They are wonderful! I can't say enough positive things about them.

I had the best experience at Ever Evolving Exotics finding my crested gecko! Their cages were clean and the animals looked very healthy. All of the staff I saw were very kind and helpful when I asked questions and let me browse for the longest time until I settled on which gecko I wanted to bring home. I also bought a container of springtails and they were active and plump. It has been two weeks since I got my little guy and he has been eating amazingly and living it up in his new home! I definitely recommend them and can't wait to make a trip back up there!

Super clean store with knowledgeable staff. The atmosphere is calming and the all the aquariums really set the mood. I can come here when I'm having a bad day and leave a bit more tranquil.
I love to get my "woods" from here too, whether it be cork, grapewood, mopani, etc, they have a good selection of everything you'll need for reptiles.
All the reptiles, fish, amphibians, arachnids, invertebrates seem to be healthy and thriving- one of the best shops (if not THE best shop) in town.

Edit- I was reading through reviews and people keep mentioning gossip and unprofessional behavior- I'm not saying it couldn't happen, it happens everywhere, but even when Lee had the shop in the old location, the staff was friendly and kind. I've even had them explain things to me and NOT make me feel like a complete idiot, so that's a biggie. I feel like the staff is great and HUMAN. Just because you catch someone at a bad time doesn't make the shop any less amazing!!
